Telling it like it is! –
Perfect recovery suit!
I bought the Kuoser Recovery Suit the Kuoser Recovery Suit for my French Bulldog after her C‑section, and honestly, I’m really glad I did. I ordered a size small for my 14lb fur baby, and it fit her perfectly. My very first thought when I opened the package was, “This is adorable.” It literally looks like a little baby onesie, and the fabric felt soft right away not stiff or scratchy like some of the cheaper ones I purchased.Using it was super easy. The Velcro closures were a lifesaver because they made potty breaks quick and stress free. I bought a cheaper suit at the same with snaps, and it was such a hassle to take on and off, especially when she needed to go potty. This one was way easier to manage, especially during those first few days when everything feels chaotic. The suit kept her incision covered, clean, and protected without restricting her movement. She could walk around, lay down, and get comfy without any issues. And the best part? She looked absolutely adorable in it way cuter than wearing a cone, and definitely more comfortable for her.Price wise, it’s a little on the higher side, but honestly, it’s worth it. The quality, the fit, and the convenience made the extra cost feel justified. It met all my expectations, and I’d absolutely repurchase it if I ever needed another one.Overall, I give it 5 stars. Great fit, soft fabric, easy Velcro, cute design, and so much better than a cone. Highly recommend.

Nice, well made suit used for post surgical incision protection.
Good price for a cute onesie that perfectly fit my Australian Cattle Dog. It was purchased to help prevent injuries to the surgical incision on her neck. This item had a high neck which unfortunately didn’t fully cover the incision as the incision so high, but it did the job well enough so she had freedom to move and did not injure the site. It washed well (she loves mud and to dig). She is a little bit calmer wearing this suit or a harness. It also kept her skin safe from our other dog tearing her skin in play. I like this suit better than a higher priced one purchased as it seems easier to apply and better protective of her neck.

Perfect, but size is inconsistent and shrinks
I’m giving this four stars because you should consider it but be aware of some facts first. It turned out perfect for my dog, allowing her to heal a large incision without having to wear a cone but generally the quality of this product is just weird. In brief, it could be absolutely perfect for your dog but if you can, it would be smart to order more than one in different sizes. If you know your dog is going to be having a surgery maybe buy it ahead of time to test it out.My female dog who had a splenectomy and would have had to wear a cone for over a week without this. Her incision runs in a straight line on her underside, from about her sternum to her pelvis. The onesie covers all of her body other than her legs and there is no way she’d be able to take it off herself. She seems perfectly comfortable though and doesn’t try to. It’s very easy to get on if she’s standing and pretty easy if she’s laying down and can’t get up. With some onesies you might have trouble with peeing and pooping but this is perfect because you can easily undo the velcro, pull the back end out through her legs and tail, then fold it forward on her back and fasten it again. It takes 5 seconds and frees up her rear end so there’s no mess. You could also easily put it over a diaper. The problems are that the size is all over the place. I have one that is very snug, one that’s quite loose and one in the middle. Another is a good fit on the top half of her body but the lower part that covers her butt is very loose. If I were trying to cover her butt or hips and she was trying to get at it to lick, that particular one would be useless because she could get her snout in the openings. But the other 3 I bought would totally work for that. There is kind of a loop thing on the top of her back where supposedly you should be able to have the velcro ends underneath but it is impossible because the opening is nowhere near wide enough to fit the strap in. Like by an entire inch. It’s not necessary though because the velcro is very strong. I don’t think it would add anything for me to be able to hide the ends under that. Every one of these I’ve purchased has a different size opening too, which is extra weird. I get the feeling that whoever is making these is just cutting the fabric freehand without a pattern because they are so insanely irregular. One more thing about the size is that I went with an XL because it’s what I could get delivered overnight and figured I’d try just in case so she didn’t have to wear a cone, but I never would have thought she’d be an XL but a L would not at all be big enough. Still, I wouldn’t say specifically to size up though because the size is so unpredictable from one to the next.Other problems are that it shrinks a bit when you wash it which is a problem if you got one that is already snug. None of mine shrank so badly we couldn’t use it though. Dry on low heat because the velcro gets stiff and curls if you dry it on high heat. The fabric is thin so don’t think this is going to keep a skinny dog warm but I was happy to have something covering my girl’s shaved belly because it is winter right now.If you need a onesie or want to try it out to avoid having to use a cone, I do recommend trying it if you want a solution to avoid the cone. But, if you can order multiple sizes and return what doesn’t work for you I would recommend that. If you can order more than one even of the same size it might work out because the irregularity could make one fit well but not another of the same size. Also, if you can order other brands to compare it would be a good idea. Check out what the return policy is first.I would never normally recommend something of this poor quality, but for me it was really worth it because my dog’s incision is big and otherwise easy for her to scratch and lick and with how hard it is for her to walk right now a cone would be terrible and she’d be falling down all the time if she tried. She has been through a lot lately so I’m glad we had these.

Perfect post surgery recovery suit!
This has worked great for our dog, Luna, post surgery! She despises e-collars and can remove / get out of anything we’ve tried in the past. She is comfortable in this body suit and it perfectly covers and protects her incisions. It is easy to put on and to adjust for potty time. She is a 68 lb English Setter— this is a perfect fit for her.

I got a size L for my 15kg female Staffordshire Bull Terrier & it fits like a glove. The velcro is super strong so she can’t get out of it. Its also really breathable. She can’t get to her wound; no matter how hard she tries. Its great when we take her outside to wee, as it just rolls up so she can go. Its also been helping with her allergies and losing hair. I highly recommend, plus, its super cute.

I appreciated the extra strong velcro, and the velcro flap on the back that kept our smart girl from figuring out how to dislodge the velcro holding the suit in place. It was simple to roll up the bottom and fasten the fabric flaps on her back for ease of letting her into the yard to do her business. Our dog preferred this to the blow-up neck pillow as she could move more naturally and rest her head comfortably. We bought two so we could wash one and she’d wear the other one.Our dog’s a Brittany Spaniel – slim and long. I recommend measuring your dog before selecting size. I would have thought to order her a medium (she’s just 30 lbs) but the length of the large was just long enough. To improve the suit, it would be helpful for some elastic on the leg edge, as she didn’t need the full width of the large and had a bit of gaping when she’d curl up. For a couple of days, we had to use “suspenders and a belt” (the inflatable neck pillow) – she’d managed to push the fabric aside overnight and reached the bottom edge of her incision – no real harm but a bit irritated. Overall, we and she preferred the suit to the neck pillow as it kept protecting her incision as she gained her energy and playing in the yard, she’d kick up a bit of dirt. This was a great option!

I have a toy poodle recently desexed, got the M to be safe (she’s 7kg) and it worked great! Could’ve got away with the S but the M gave her a little more space comfortably so not tight. Also fast delivery ! Order over the public holidays and arrived so quickly!
