Good sizing
Great product (having purchased many others), true to size, easyish on & off, easy to undo for potty breaks…not too hot for our patient even though it’s 90°f…

I will start by saying I got the sizes small and medium. His measurement was at the very end on the small size, so I got both. The small fits my Yorky great. It was a little baggy on his butt at first, but still good. Now that I washed it, it fits perfect. I haven’t even tried the medium. Im pretty certain it will be way to big. My Yorkie has bad allergies and gets allergy shots every 3 months. I think because it’s spring he needs a shorter time in-between shots. Anyhow he has been scratch constantly and tearing up his skin bad. I got him a soft collar which helped but because I am putting ointment on his chest & belly, the addition of this onesie help keep that on and a barrier if he used his feet to scratch He doesn’t try and scratch at all in this. Except for his feet a bit. It has definitely helped the healing process. Not to mention how you don’t have to take off the whole onesi for him to do his business. The velcro is also top quality and strong. That convenience is much appreciated. It exceeded my expectations. I absolutely recommend this!

Worked great for my 8 month old Golden retriever after spaying. So much better than a cone. She didn’t even try to pick or pull at it.Washes and drys quickly- for when I forgot to loop it up before taking her out.Only draw back is that it does slide down (not off) doesn’t stay up at the neck, more like at the shoulders. Didn’t bother the dog.

Exactly what we needed for our 10 pound poodle after abdominal surgery
Our 8 year old, 10 pound poodle, had to have mammary masses and a rectal mass surgically removed. We adopted her from a high kill shelter and it was obvious went through a lot of trauma. That was sometime ago and her anxiety and fear of stranger and confinement have remained. Unfortunately the hard plastic cone of shame terrifies her. So we bought this J surgical suit, just prior to her surgery date, along with a soft cone, and an inflatable donut style recovery collar. I bought a second post surgical suit for her that is made so that she can go potty without having to take it on and off, but it has a little less coverage in the abdomen area and I was concerned she’d be able to chew her sutures along her belly in that one… But without trying them on, I just wasn’t sure.This post surgical suit is perfect for her immediate recovery. I was hesitant to purchase it after reading some of the negative reviews detailing sizing issues. I’m glad I opted to try it despite those reviews. #1 I read the entire listing and description for size information. #2 I measure my dog with a measuring tape accurately. Zero issues! It is soft and roomy enough to be breathable to ensure good healing, and is comfortable too. The velcro wrap / closure that goes around her midsection, is nice and secure and is fully adjustable. So far she has not had to wear any cones or donuts! After 7-10 days of recovery, We’ll give the other suit a try so she can start using the pet door and going potty outside whenever she needs to.

Finally arrived!!!
The weather caused my shipment to de delayed by 2 days. I had come up with “shorts” to put on my dog since he gets oddly depressed with the cone. He got the shorts off the day before the onesie had arrived. He had to go back in the cone. Another sleepless night. 😒 Thank goodness it arrived today!My dog is a 42lb miniature bernedoodle. I bought a large. It fits perfectly. My dog is now napping comfortably. An extra large would have worked, too, but I’m not sure if there would have been a gap when he sat down.The stretchiness is great for going over the behind and getting the velcro done up. The only micro issue is that there’s a spot to kind of fasten the velcro under. You kind of have to fasten the velcro under it and off to one side and then scoot it back under the little thing. My micro gripe is that it seems to be in an odd place on my dog. This is where I think I possibly could have sized up to an extra large.I haven’t washed it yet, so I hope it doesn’t shrink.Update: These are adorable, but when he sat down there was a gap where he could lick his stitches through. 5 stars for looks, 2 stars for ability to keep the dog from kicking.

Functionality and comfort for pet
This suit is an absolute failure for male dogs after neutering. First, it doesn’t leave an opening allowing the dog to pee without having to unfasten the Velcro, pulling it up and rolling it up to allow the dig to have a bowl movement. Since the area is painful, my dog would not allow me anywhere near the site. I also had to pull his long tail through the tail opening, creating additional discomfort and pain. This design does not work since he could still lick the site through the leg opening. This truly was a waste of money.

Super cute puppy PJs!
I have a beagle with a thick neck! These are some of the only PJs I’ve found that they don’t get pulled all the way down the neckline by her gigantic shoulders. Very soft, easy to wash and they don’t hold hair, so that’s nice! Super cute, love the colors! Worth the money! Size is true to size, which is great. Usually brands say medium for beagles but mine is somewhere between a medium and large once clothes are washed, this sizing was perfect tho! If you’re looking for something that holds water, these are not it. There is an area sewn in for leakage but you need a diaper if it’s anything more than a few drops.

Item arrived in excellent condition. Fits my female well and is of good quality. She recently was spayed and this product helped with her recovery. The only problem I encountered was that the delivery date was three days later than what was expected. Not the seller’s fault.

The material is soft and comfortable, and my dog Bibi tolerated wearing it very well. It did a good job preventing her from scratching, licking, or biting the area, which was exactly what we needed during recovery. The only downside is that it’s a bit awkward for potty breaks—urine can get the suit wet if you’re not very careful. Overall, still a helpful recovery suit.

I bought the XXL for my 85 pound 18-month old when he was neutered. He is very sensitive to anything being on him – harnesses, life jackets, etc. But the cones (or inflatable head rings) are also very hard for him and freak him out even more (he’s a sensitive soul for being such a large beast). He took 24 hours to get used to the suit itself, and in hindsight, we should have bought it earlier and had him wear it a day or two before his surgery so we had one less thing for him to adapt to. That said, this suit was infinitely easier for him to manage than a head cone or inflatable ring. I found it easy to get on and had to wash it a few times, but kept it in cold and dried on low heat and never noticed any shrinkage.The biggest con to me is how large the hole is for the tail. It was so large that he could easily access his scrotum and I found him licking a few times. I modified it myself – as I see others on here did – by sewing in velcro to reduce the size of hole and keep him from accessing the area. I see others added a few stitches to enclose the area, but either way, I’d recommend the manufacturer consider the addition of snaps or something so people can customize the tail hole size for their dogs. If it is too large and the dog can get to the area, it defeats the purpose of the whole product.And as others note, it is easy to undo the velcro on the suit and basically push the suit towards the front of his body to let him go outside to pee and do his business. But a small additional enhancement that would be awesome for this would be ties they build into the product so you could tie the top and bottom once the velcro is open to keep it “scrunched” into place while they are outside.
