Great belly protection and looks so cute on.
I bought this because I needed to keep Pumpkin from irritating her belly after she was spayed. I bought two so I could wash and change them. I took it with me to the vet so they could put it on her before I brought her home. It fit her great and she looked SO adorable!I bought a small and a medium and both worked well. It kept her from licking and picking at her incision and stitches. They were covered so she couldn’t get at them. At first I was concerned that being covered would keep the area from healing, but that was not an issue. Her belly looks great and healed fine.Pumpkin is 6 months old, 7lbs and EXTREMELY active even when contained. The suits are very durable. Great design. They didn’t get soiled when she used the litter box and they didn’t limit her mobility. She didn’t like when I put it over her head when I changed it but she was fine with wearing it once I got it on her.My only criticism is they should come in more colors. Suit protected her belly and allowed me to uncover and check her without taking the whole suit off. I definitely recommend.I’m not into dressing my pets but these made me want to.

Excellent fit, Better than the Cone!!
I ordered the XSmall Junior for my 7 month old, 6.79 pound kitten for after her spay surgery. It fits absolutely perfectly and my babygirl seems to really be okay with it! She definitely likes it better than the cone. She can walk and move around quite well, and she’s able to potty just fine while wearing it, and also is able to clean her bottom afterwards. (Whereas she couldn’t do that in the cone) It was easy to put on her, and that was really great, because she’s not one to allow such things easily! I’d definitely recommend this suit.

Vet recommended. Sizing was spot on. She got used to it quickly. Easy on and off.
My cat is 7lbs and this fit her perfectly based on recommended sizing (length and weight). The guide was spot on.It did not take long for her to get used to wear it. It was easy to put on and take off.She had surgery on her lower abdomen and this covered her 3+ inch stitched up incision completely. She was easily able to use the litter box without getting it on her recovery suit.I brought a couple different recovery suits to vet and this is the one they chose for her.So, I purchased another one of these so I could switch out to wash during her 2 weeks of healing.She never would have tolerated the cone. I believe this helped her heal better as it protected her wound and she was able to drink water, eat her food and get around easily.I cannot recommend enough.Also, I loved the color and she looked insanely cute in it.

Please read! Update: Red and blue ones cause allergic skin reaction. No reaction with the grey one.
Update: So it turns out that my cat is allergic to the material in both the red and blue ones, which seem to be made out of the same fabric. It caused her fur to fall out and her skin to be raw. Yes she did overgroom (as mentioned below) but that behavior stopped with medication. The sores returned and we thought she was over rooming again, but I was confused how it was under the bodyguard. Since we bought more than one, so we could swap them out to wash, she healed when we switched to the grey one. Then developed sores again when we switched to the blue one. Switched back to the grey one and sores healed up again, so it is apparent it is the specific material causing the problems. She doesn’t have this problem with the grey one and she loves it. It is quite calming to her.We have a cat who is over-grooming from anxiety. She has licked herself to the point of bald spots and damaged skin. We bought this to protect her skin and allow her fur to grow back. It fits her quite well and is relatively easy to put on. It has a good stretch to the fabric so she can move easily and the fabric on her hind quarters stays in place so it doesn’t interfere with her using the litter box.There has definitely been an adjustment period for her to get used to the feel. She doesn’t move around much, walking and playing with it on (would be good for pets recovering from surgery). I can see this being a great alternative to using the cone of shame after surgeries.

Cat got out of it within an hour
I got the correct size put it on my cat with the snaps and Velcro in place and the neck area tightened and somehow she got out of it within an hour. It fit well it wasn’t too loose. It’s a lot of money for it to not work.

Very happy with this, it leaves the back open to potty, she can wear it continuously, it’s going to be to help her when she gets spayed, the size is spot on she got used to it fairly quickly considering she hates clothing, she flopped over for a few minutes then realized ‘wait I can move’ and is now acting like she’s perfectly okay with it on – she’s one of those cats who remove Cones by kicking the daylights out of it, and with this she hasn’t even tried to take it off, telling me that it’s a good sign – it seems to help keep her calm as she’s in heat right now and it stopped her constant licking her body, I’m pretty impressed with it, it looks like it fits really well, the color is really cute on her and it’s quite light weight making it not too hot for summer and not too cold for winter, honestly, I approve. I’ll edit this when it comes to actual surgery day in a few weeks.

Great for recovery
Such a great alternative to the cone of shame! I measured my cat and the size chart was accurate, it fit her very well. There’s a butt flap so she can pee and poop and the shirt stayed clean. It is very secure, she wasn’t able to remove it. She didn’t seem to even notice she was wearing it, I think it was very comfortable for her. I kept it on her for two weeks after her surgery and her stitches healed beautifully because the shirt prevented her from licking them. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an alternative to the dreaded cones!
