Adorable and comfortable
My dog was neutered 2 days ago. I ordered a few different recovery suits for him to wear instead of the cone, this one turned out to be my favorite. I don’t know which one he preferred, lol. I think I may have ordered the wrong size, I just ordered the size that he normally wears (an XL) and it turned out to be pretty loose, but I preferred that. I think they’re supposed to be snug but I am home with him all day and can watch him to make sure he’s not trying to push the fabric aside to get at his incision. I do put a cone on him at night as well as the recovery suit as he is a very flexible and extremely determined boy, I was concerned that the suit would not be enough to keep him from licking while I was asleep. So far so good! It looks adorable, it looks to be made very well and durable, I love the bright cheerful colors against the white background. It’s very easy to put on him and take off, it secures by the hook and loop type of fastening strips (no zipper or buttons to fiddle with). I especially appreciate that you don’t need to take it completely off of him to take him out to potty, you can just roll the back end up so he can do his business. I didn’t roll it up far enough the last time we went out so he did accidentally get a little bit of urine on it. No big deal, I washed and dried it and it still looks great! I do recommend getting more than 1 recovery suit if you’re going to be ordering any. They get dirty pretty quickly at the business end of the dog, lol, I put a new suit on him daily so it’s very helpful to have a clean suit for him to wear while one is being washed. I love this one and would absolutely recommend it!

Solution for My Dog’s Belly Tumor Issue
This suit is cute, but just a little bit too tight for my dog. I observed the sizing guidelines, but dogs are hard to fit sometimes. It isn’t too tight to get by, but I think she’d be a little more comfortable in the next size up. My little gal has an inoperative benign tumor growing from her belly (near the rear) that causes her a lot of discomfort. It is also uncomfortable for me to see it hanging down while she moves about. She often catches it on rough surfaces and the tender skin bruises and tears easily. I’ve tried all sorts of wraps, but nothing seems to provide support without also binding too tightly. What she really needs is a small belly hammock, but they don’t seem to make anything specifically like that! This outfit seems to provide belly support without binding the area around the tumor, which is fantastic. The only other issue I needed to contend with is the fact that she also has an active bladder. Frequently unstrapping and restrapping the suit is not only inconvenient, but also removes the protection provided by the “hammock” while she’s outside doing her business. I measured the area of fabric that would need to be removed in order to allow her to go potty without removing the straps and simply trimmed it out and stitched up the cut edges to restore the clean look of the outfit. Voila, a carefree solution to our particular issue! The material is two layers, the print fabric and a liner, which is an attest to the premium quality of the garment. I’m ordering the next size up in a similar suit with a different pattern for variety. It’s an added bonus that the fabric doesn’t seem to be fraying and was very easy to make this alteration with hand stitching. It washes up just like new!

Great surgery onsie for my dog
I have not had a chance to put this on my dog yet but he has a surgery coming up that I will use this for. I was happy that it actually came in a bigger size for a large dog. It seems like it will be easy enough to get on him slipping in his front legs and then Velcro for the back part. It’s really nice and soft so I think he will be comfortable in it and keep him from licking after surgery. The pattern on the material is super cute too. I like that it will have easy access to take him potty without having to take the whole thing off him.
