After that, I installed the wireless fence function in our backyard and gently walked her around the border boundary so that she could get familiar with the boundaries. In a short amount of time, she was able to recognize the safe zone, and the built-in warnings provided her with unambiguous feedback anytime she came dangerously near to crossing the border line. In addition, I put her through the training modes, including static, vibration, and buzzer, to observe how she reacted to each one. I found that the beep was sufficient to attract my dog’s attention most of the time; however, adding the vibration option as a follow-up proved to be helpful in situations where she was more preoccupied. Because I have the opportunity to alter the parameters, I am able to choose the technique that is the least invasive while still producing the desired outcomes. The flexibility that has been provided has shown to be particularly useful throughout various sorts of training sessions, whether it be for the purpose of reinforcing orders or discouraging undesirable conduct. My family and I went on a weekend vacation to a friend’s farm, which has a huge open space, and I brought it along with us. In a short amount of time, I was able to establish a secure perimeter, and my dog acclimated in the same way that she did at home. It was comforting to let her explore without needing to continuously worry about her going too far away from the path. Got this mainly for the yard since our dog tends to wander. The device came with all the basics and wasn’t complicated to figure out. Buttons respond fine and the remote isn’t bulky. The collar fit well enough on a medium-sized dog — haven’t tested on larger breeds. Tried both modes briefly, and everything worked as described.
