Simplehuman Size E bags fit the 5.3 gallon poop can perfectly.
I got the 5.3 gallon poop can for use outside to replace a plastic kitchen size trash can, which was larger but not as well sealed and it smelled. So far, the new can has worked fine and seems to keep the smells down. It is smaller, however, and thus needs to be emptied more frequently. I had some difficulty finding replacement trash bags to fit the new can. Some 5.3 gallon bags are too small in diameter and some were too flimsy. I finally found that Simplehuman size E bags fit perfectly and are much stronger than any others I’ve found.

Nice container. Only issue is when you are carrying the inside container to empty it out, it digs into your hand a bit and hurts.

Great size and holds up outside
This is the perfect size and has held up in the Arizona heat. I was using a large trash can, but emptying it was horrible. This can is small enough that I can lift the bag out, but large enough that I don’t have to empty it for weeks.

Not worth the money.
Smells worse then my old Rubbermaid can I used. Terrible for smell. Used for two days and you can smell dog poop !

Lid doesn’t close tightly
I bought this because it has a hands-free closing lid and I could keep it outdoors without flies getting into the dog waste.The instructions were simple: remove the plastic hard liner to empty. I couldn’t get the plastic liner out of the can without using a screwdriver to force between the liner and the can. It was jammed down pretty hard, I assume from shipping. Instructions said: place charcoal packet into holder on the inside of the lid. My charcoal holder was stuck to the bottom of the plastic liner. I used a putty knife to loosen and re-attach to the lid. Minor inconveniences.I gave this two stars because my whole intention of purchasing this was the hands-free lid. My lid does not close tightly, leaving a significant gap until I push it down. Again, minor inconvenience.That being said, if I’m going to have to push the lid down anyway, I’m going back to the basics and buying a plastic garbage can with a lid from my hardware store.

Quality not in line with high price.
Definitely doesn’t look like your average doggie can, but after a month it’s already faded and it doesn’t have a strong enough seal to hold in smells. Had high hopes, but my old metal bin with lid functioned better.
