Our system is designed to locate a Petloc8 Device anywhere in the world (with NO ADDITIONAL costs or roaming fees) as long as there is GSM cellular service area.
How many Petloc8 devices can I add to my Petloc8 App account?
You can link as many Petloc8 devices to your account as you want. Each device requires a separate subscription plan.
Is Petloc8 waterproof?
Petloc8 has an IP67 waterproof rating, which means it can withstand immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
Can you attach the Petloc8 to a collar?

Good value, good function, excellent service.
This is a great little device. It’s been working well and when it’s in WiFi mode (battery saver) the battery lasts for weeks. Customer service has been excellent. I left a message and got a call and email right away. They knew about the issue I had and said it would be fixed soon. As apology, they added a free month to our service.The main positives of this tracker are the price, very reasonable, especially with some of these costing several hundred dollars. The device is durable and small enough that our dog does not seem to notice wearing it. The collar attachment is secure and seems comfortable. The device connected quickly and seems very accurate. Charging does not take long and if you use a battery saver mode like WiFi or longer check in times, you can go weeks between charging. Fortunately we haven’t had an “escape” yet, but I feel like it will be super useful when (not if) the next one happens. The subscription is a good value, less expensive than most.

Doesn’t work well in all less then perfect areas.Mine wouldn’t show or connect to my wifi. The software was clunky and unimpressive. Tech support was non existent. Emails sent without proper response or any response at all.Difficult to cancel. No website member log in. Just advertisements. Returned.

Works well enough
Works great. Battery lasts 3-5 days. Nowhere near the weeks it suggests that’ll it’ll last and thats with the top battery saving settings. The app interface is easy to use and my dog doesnt mind when I charge it. Just have to keep an eye on it to make sure its charged so its ready if needed.

Four battery life, slow response
The unit does work, however, the battery life is exceptionally short, even at lowest power settings, rarely lasts two days. Having to charge it every single day is cumbersome and itās easy to forget to charge it and then itās useless when it powers off. Also, when it is operational, the response time is very low, often itās 15 minutes after the dog leaves The Geo fence location before a notification is sent, by then theyāre long gone. Next time I would spend more money on a better unit.

It really works
Iām teetering on 4 or 5 stars. Settled on five. The reason is because I found my girl yesterday because of this device. sheās a Aussie doodle and has a mind of her own sometimes. She likes to explore and because we are living in the country and have good neighbors she is able to do just that. I get freaked out though when I donāt know where she is. She got lost a few weeks ago and was gone for 3 days. Three very long days. I never wanted to experience not having her with us again so I started looking for dog trackers. I read so many reviews and finally settled on this one. Didnāt I like the idea of having to pay for a subscription to use this, but my dog is not just a dog to me. Sheās like my furry toddler. It is worth the money each month just to know sheās safe. Itās really not that expensive. I had a little trouble getting it to connect. The customer service helped me get connected though. I am very pleased with this tracker because it lets me know who my girl is visiting with. It actually does work.

Does not do what is advertised
The tracker bluetooth feature has its problems,and I cannot get it to work. They say it is in beta but they do not say that in sales literature. The app is not something that is easily understandable. The directions are useless.I have not returned tracker yet because they say they are working on bluetooth and updating the app, and they have updated the app 3 times but bluetooth still is not working. Packaged well on arrival.Verdict still out at present.If I knew this before I would not have purchasedJohn Schulder
