    Good Solid Teeter
I was a little concerned about the stability of the base from the pictures of the teeter, but its is extremely stable (I have a 43 pound Border Collie). The teeter hinges are nothing exotic, but they work exceptionally well. once assembled, this is close to a standard sized teeter. there are a LOT of screws involved in assembly – simple assembly, just a LOT of screws! The teeter itself is three pieces that are held together by a metal brace on each side of the joints. I think it took between 30-45 minutes to assemble. Hint: Make sure the joints are straight and the boards are flush before screwing the the metal brace in place.Edit: After a year of use it’s still solid and working. Reading some of the reviews on the lack of base stability, I put two 4x8x12 pavers on the base (one on each side), and it is rock solid for up 60 pound dogs (we have one that trains in the group).

Sturdy, good quality – but came with split and broken pieces. Hope it’ll hold

Nice Idea- but Engineering & Craftsmanship leaves a bit to be desired.
Pros- great idea for keeping your dogs agile & fit. We added it to our outdoor agility course. Cons: It is not to scale for competition. The base is very narrow and it is very unstable if your dog weighs more than 25-30 lbs. The base is only 16 inches wide and it lifts off the ground and tilts over when the dog runs up and down the plank. The nonskid rubber coating on the board is excellent, UNTIL you leave the board outside for a few days and the sun starts shrinking the rubber coating and drying the glue adhesive so the rubber starts peeling off. The base parts also did not fit together well. I had to drill new holes so they would line up and allow the frame to be constructed straight. Nice thing is I was able to use all the base wood pieces as templates for making my own seesaws at home. I scaled their product down to make a puppy seesaw (I improved the base) and enlarge it to make one suitable for my 45lbs Aussie to use for competition practice. Both bases had to be improved to make the seesaw sturdy enough. I got a great deal ($70 off) when I bought it so it was an OK purchase for the price.

    Wood splinters when assembling
I wish I would’ve read the reviews before buying. We were not able to use the seesaw because we weren’t even able to assemble it or use it. The screws split the wood. Very disappointed. Now we are having to return heavy and awkward item to the UPS store. What a hassle, especially since there is not one close to me.

    glue melts in warm weather
It works great until it’s summer, the temperature gets warm and then the glue that holds down the non-slip rubber coating just melts away and there goes your secure footing for your dog….For that price and being made in Germany I was accepting glue that withstands 30 degrees Celsius/86 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Shakey
my dog goes over all the teachers at the agility course but this one is rickety and I have gone over and over it to make sure that I had everything done properly but it just isn’t very sturdy and my dog doesn’t like to get on it so it was a waste of money. Wish I could send it

great seesaw I got this seesaw to practice at home as my dog is an agility dog. I run a 7pound very small Yorkshire terrier so it is perfect for all size dogs. please note that the seesaw is one of the hardest pieces of kit to train your dog on and if you get it wrong your dog may never run the seesaw again. one good tip is never let your dog run straight up the seesaw for the first time, the first thing to do is very very slowly walk your dog over the seesaw. and there are some very good tips in the instructions on how to train your dog to walk the see-saw, please read. and also please note you will need to be very good at D.I.Y. to put this seesaw together as you will need to drill to do a good job with an electric screwdriver but its worth it or ask a good friend to help. and with almost all agility bit of kit, you may want to put a sandbag on the stand. this is not a fault of the stand it just common sense. all pro agility use sandbags on their kit
