I knew the cats wouldn’t have any qualms about the metal pan; in fact, I knew they would like it as it stays much cleaner than the plastic ones. I just wasn’t sure about two things: only having one entrance and feeling enclosed. I have several different types of litter boxes including one that’s fully covered and that one rarely gets used even though it’s the newest. I’m not sure why that is but I’ve had some cats who would only use a covered box or one with high sides so I provide one. I’ve also noticed that the cats, when they are done, just jump out of the box from any side, scattering litter all over the place. That’s the primary reason I wanted to try this box and the cats have adapted. This is now the favorite box, even of the 6-week-old kittens who had previously been having box training accidents but love this one. I was concerned that the side of the actual box might be too high for them but they handle it. It was very easy to set up: unfold it and put the box in it. It did have a plastic-y smell to it so I let it air out for a couple of days as I didn’t want the cats to associate a strange smell with it and ignore it.It seems a little on the expensive side but a stainless steel pan of this size is easily $40 or more and the enclosure is rigid and doesn’t feels like cheap plastic. I don’t have any cats right now that throw litter around but even if I did, this is tall enough to capture it so I can return it to the pan. Given that at any time I have from four to eight litter boxes to clean, anything that helps make that task easier is welcome. The metal pan is easier to clean as clumps don’t seem to stick to it as much. Overall, it’s a nice setup.

Extra Big Litter Box Should Help Keep Your Kitties from Going Outside the Box
This litter box is bigger than the standard ones I have. I needed something where the kitty would end up staying in the litter area rather than sometimes missing and going outside the box. This will do the trick. Because of the size, the bags you put in to make it easy to discard are a touch small. I decided to get heavier standard trash bags and put two in, one for the bottom and one which will easily pick up the used litter. They work pretty well. The litter box is also stainless steel, making it very easy to clean.It also comes with removable sides (it’s 3 sides hooked together by a rubber base that goes underneath the litter box) and no top, that you can easily wipe clean if necessary or remove completely to wash off. I’m pretty sure you should not put it in the washer. I think this is also supposed to keep doggies out, but unless you turn the opening toward the wall, it does not. Still, kitty seems to like it.The set also comes with a scoop that can be attached to a side wall. Kitty has a tendency to pull them off, so the scoop stays in the garage. There is also a little tiny mat that goes in front of the opening. The purpose? Not sure. Maybe it’s to keep the kitty from accidents toward the front, but the mat, all rubber, is just a touch small for that.You could put a whole bag or box of litter in this litter box, and you would still have plenty of room for more if you wanted more.Overall, this is a pretty decent setup and would probably work well for families with more than one kitty.

Love love love – worth the investment.
Iāve been on the hunt for a better litter box since we added a third cat (a kitten, specifically) to the menagerie, and this one has absolutely delivered. Itās big enough for all three cats to use, and the stainless steel base makes it very easy to clean – no staining, no odors, no weird buildup over time. I use a litter box deodorizer in the bottom after I clean it out completely and before I add clean litter (about once every 10 days or so), and so far, there’s no smell.The sides are high enough to prevent litter from going everywhere, and also high enough to block the occasional over-the-edge mishap. Bonus: the tall walls give the cats a nice sense of privacy, which they seem to appreciate. They transitioned to this new setup in no time, maybe an hour. That almost never happens with my kitties with new stuff, they’re very fussy.Itās not a cheap litter box, but in my opinion, itās worth it. The cheaper ones just donāt hold up, and in the long run, this saves time, effort, and probably money too. I expect it to last a very long time. High Walls for the Win
I have a female cat who has anxiety issues. No matter how many holistic treatments we try, she continues to pee on the walls. I had fully enclosed litter boxes previously, but I think the enclosure made her nervous (thus, peeing on walls outside of the litter box). So far she seems to like this litter box over the other semi-enclosed litter box I tried. I put wee-wee pads over the wall so I did not have to dismantle everything every time I wanted to clean.The stainless steel litter box is okay. It does not seem that much different from a plastic box. I do not see much a different when cleaning the box. I also have not noticed that much a of difference smell-wise. The size of the box is good for two cats, and putting the whole thing together was very easy. The walls cover three sides, and it has a base on the bottom to keep it in place. There are some gaps on the sides because the litter box edges are rounded while the walls are 90 degree angles.Overall, Iām happy with this litter box thus far, and has made my anxious cat more comfortable.

Great cat box
I have really liked using ths litter box for my kitties. It all is quality made. I like the sides of the box and it has kept my floor free from cat litter.
