We love, love, love this crate. So useful. We bought it for a cat dying from a brain tumor who had lost directional control but still wanted to be among members of the family. We subsequently used it to integrate a feral, abandoned, abused cat — to this day, months later, this is her go-to place when she is overwhelmed. For both cats, it gave us peace of mind: we could leave the house and the cat would be safe. Locked in the crate, together with food, water, litter, and a soft cat bed. We even put a cover over the side with the litter box for “bathroom privacy.” Understanding that the crate was meant for a large dog, who would have a different experience, I highly recommend it for cats that need temporary or occasional isolation. So highly versatile and nice-looking, I used it against the wall and piled with dishes and utensils for a birthday party — and the cat was able to attend, safely. Fantastic acquisition, easy to assemble, high value for the money, and perfect size (large enough to hold everything needed and still narrow enough to move through doorways to take the cat into the bedroom with us at night and living room during the day. Good quality, handsome materials.

Works perfectly and looks great
I was excited to get this pen. It is very heavy and has a quality feel. I was able to easily put it all together within 20 minutes. I love everything about it. The caster wheels are perfect. I can roll it anywhere I want without struggling. The double doors open wide enough that I can easily get my pet inside and out. The latches are so easy to operate. I like that I can open one door at a time if that’s all I need. It looks nice, fits in like a piece of furniture. A definite improvement over the plain ugly cage I used to use. I’m happy with it.

Edited Review:BLUF: COMPANY STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. 🙂 We had an issue with the latches on this kennel…however due to the great customer service we received, I am now able to recommend this product.TLDR version: While we did have some issues with this kennel during and shortly after assembly, as soon as their customer service department heard about it, they reached out to me to make things right – they offered a full credit (in the form of Amazon gift card) *without me having to return the item*. Since we had already gotten a refund from Amazon, and then found a solution to our issue (see below) that has allowed us to use the kennel, I didn’t feel right accepting the offer. Most other reviewers did not encounter the problems we did, so I guess we just got a random lemon, but rest-assured that *if* you have any issues, they stand behind their product and will go out of their way to help you…a nice thing to know when buying an expensive item.This is a really good-looking kennel, and seems sturdy (we have a young, very energetic beagle). She has plenty of room in there to sleep stretched-out. We figured out an easy fix for the issue we had with the latches, by simply purchasing a couple sets of strong magnets to hold the gates shut. These seem to work just as well or better than the regular latches (but again, we have a beagle, not a big strong dog like a bully, so YMMV). Since MacGyver-ing the latch issue, the kennel has worked great and looks great, and due to the company standing behind their satisfaction guarantee, I can recommend it.

Buy it!
First of all, I knew what I was getting because a friend has one. This piece of furniture is sturdy, well made and great looking. Also easy to put together. When I received it, however, the top was damaged at the hinges. I immediately notified the company via email with pictures. They said they would replace it. Within a week I received the new part! Excellent customer service!!! So, don’t hesitate to purchase this!

Bows in middle top broken
Bows in middle to bottom does not lock. Top part slightly broken Not happy as now having to dismantle and return as do not wish to pay this much for item that is defective. I am not happy. Would rather have partial refund than the bother of dismantling.Bows in middle you have to put something underneath r will not lock. It is a puppy in it so not a very heavy dog.

Perfect enclousure!
We just got a Yorkie puppy 3/25. She just about destroyed the first collapsible enclosure we bought. So we upgraded to this pen that’s more like a piece of furniture and does job when we need her contained. We put one of her beds inside and she uses her pen during the day like a secure place. It was very easy to assemble and looks great. This was well worth the money.

Works great. Very sturdy Looks good in our room too. We have been using it for a year with no da game to it from our dog. She does hit the door some to try to get out and the doors have held up well. The top opening makes it easy to give her stuff we may have forgot after she is in the crate.
