Killing fleas
Bug MD is always good. But I seriously think nothing works on these fleas. I’ve tried everything and they just don’t go away. But Bug MD is the only thing that has kept them at bay. It alone has truly helped my pets.

Natural alternative!
I have a 2 lb puppy and live in an area where ticks are a huge issue. Not only is he too small for prescription spot on treatments, I don’t like those or the edible flea/tick options due to the possible adverse affects. I was looking for a holistic alternative and was going to buy essential oils to make my own but while I was finding “recipes” for these, I was not finding dosage information depending on size of the pet. Then I came across this product and was pleased that it was for all size pets, and they give you the formula to adjust the dose if your pet is under 2 kg (4.4 lb). When I first applied it the scent was very strong but not unpleasant. Remember, these are essential oils and they are inherently strong. The scent dissipated quite a lot over a few hours and didn’t bother my little guy at all. I also like the fact that it does not have peppermint oil which is listed as essential oils NOT to use on dogs. I did start this product in September and have not had a flea or tick on my dog. I hope it will be as successful come spring/summer next year when these pests are in full force. I do wish it contained cedarwood oil as well as the geranium oil as those are the two that are most affective at repelling AND killing these disease carrying pests. All in all, so far so good. Happy to have found this product and thankful it exists for those of us pet parents who dislike all these drugs we are expected to put on/in our pets. Letting nature take care of nature is the best way to go every time if at all possible.UPDATE: This spring ticks have been awful. After applying this treatment ticks are no Longer magnetized to my dog. I have only found one on him and it was dead. I have also found a couple dead ticks on the floor so this product is working great for us. I will say this box smelled stronger than the last. Very much like a citronella candle but within 2 days the scent had dissipated. Small price to pay to protect my little guy (now 7 lb) without the harmful chemicals. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

Not pipettes!
I bought these May 9 and a different box arrived with pipettes. No fleas or ticks on a small dog and three indoor/outdoor cats. However, it’s not flea season yet so I can really say they work great yet. But for my raspberries are just now starting to arrive.The HUGE problem is that I just reordered as it’s time to reapply and they have changed the packaging as well as the applicator. No pipettes. These are little bottles that don’t squeeze and the liquid comes out in small increments. But having to shake it like trying to get the ketchup out of the bottom of the bottle, means the can is long gone unless you have a super tame one. Also once some of the liquid comes out the tiny hole it gets on the bottle and is slick like soap so one flew out of mine hand- and NOW the liquid comes out of course.So it may work, I”m not real sure, but unless they go back to the old pipetttes I won’t be buying from belovedpets (their phone number sound very AI) I then emailed the company and they called back within 48hrs but said she would tell the team about the issue as they are in the process of rebranding, but if they decide to change it, it would take some time.So for now- DO NOT BUY

Too overwhelming
I would have given this product 1 to 2 stars but I think the product is somewhat effective…in keeping fleas away because of the overpowering scent of citronella that it gives off. AND after only a few minutes, the fleas that were on my cat began jumping off onto ME as my cat sat in my lap…It was a horrifying experience! The fumes & or scent, caused my cat to walk around with half closed eyes, shaking his head constantly, meowing pitifully as he scratched furiously & constantly for 2 days after the application.I could bearly stand to have him around me because of the overwhelming fumes that actually caused my eyes to burn and tear up and the awful scent permeated my home. After 2 days, I finally wiped him down to remove as much of the treatment & scent that I could. And his sister cat began hissing & swatting at him if he came near her before making her escape and then she would hunker down and glare fiercely at him & avoided him at all costs. I was just thankful that I hadn’t applied the treatment to her.I was so looking forward to using a “natural” treatment and it saddens me to give such a negative review, but I feel that this product needs a warning label on it to alert the buyer (especially if they have asthma or bronchitis, like I do) of how it can affect both their pets and the humans who come in contact with it in regards of the potenency of the fumes it carries. I disposed of the remaining 2 treatment packs and just counted the cost as a loss but gained the knowledge of really checking out a product before investing in it; but when I tried to read the reviews on this product, they weren’t even relevant to this item. I’m so sorry this product didn’t work out for my cats or for me. Thank you, Amazon, for giving me the opportunity to voice my true opinion of this item, so that others may be informed of some of its effects.

This just did not work at all.
Well this just did not work at all. Notice a flea on our inside cat so decided to get a flea treatment. Came across this and like the idea of plant based. Put it on over a week ago and now the cat is loaded with fleas. This did absolutely nothing. :/Put it on the back of his neck as instructed. Now I have to go find another flea treatment.
