My dog can talk
These buttons work well. My only complaint is that my dog tends to push them around a lot on the mat. They would be even better with some kind of grip on the bottom.

A fun way to communicate with your pet!
I was hesitant on buying communication buttons for my 1yo chihuahua-terrier mix, but I finally gave in to the fun videos I’d been seeing with other dogs using them. I recorded all 6, but started with just 2 (potty & treat, because those, in my opinion, are the ones that my dog goes into demand mode over!). I was hopeful, but was expecting a long training routine to get him comfortable using them. I set these 2 buttons on the included mat in a visible space. Every time he would alert me to one of these needs, I would first push the corresponding button, and then continue with our already established routine. By the end of the first day, he used the “potty” button! It scared him, he jumped back and stared at it, then pushed it again and stared at me.We are now on the third day. He has used the button a few more times, the sound doesn’t always activate. He likely isn’t pushing it down far enough, which I don’t think is the fault of the button. I’m continuing the same routine with training for both buttons and don’t plan on adding in a third until he learns these 2. It takes time and patience, and I’m confident that he will eventually get the hang of it. I’m impressed that he has started using them so quickly.I haven’t used them long enough to comment on battery life. The buttons are an appropriate size for any size dog. These aren’t the cheapest you can get, but they are a good price for the quality that they are. I’ll come back to update my review if the durability can’t meet my expectations, but as long as we can get a year out of them, I feel it will be a good investment.

I’ve always wanted to understand my dog’s needs better, and these recordable buttons have made it possible. They’re super easy to use—just press and record a message up to 30 seconds. The sound is clear, so my dog gets it. The set comes with a sturdy mat and stickers to keep things organized. Plus, the included clicker and training e-book have been really helpful. Now, we’re communicating like never before, and it’s brought us even closer.

You have to train your dog to use them.
They are little recorders and you can put your own words on them Very sweet. However, my dogs aren’t interested. I haven’t yet studied the instructions online.

Good for testing but they can’t be used for longevity/mat won’t keep them in place/not enough space
The buttons are good but the mat is useless and tiny. There is no way they will all fit on the mat as the picture shows. Even if they could, there would be no way to prevent mis-pushes because they have to be smashed together. In addition, the mat has no way of keeping the buttons in place. My dogs slide them off of the mat as they push the buttons, so it it hard to keep them in the same place. Good price just for the buttons to test if the dogs are receptive, but I’ll definitely be looking elsewhere for long term.

Fast shipping
Just as described. Our dog trains very easy but he can’t get the hang of this. We’ve tried for a couple weeks with no luck. Hopefully he will get it once he gets a little older
