The Pro Pawty for Cats Space Saver was designed to stop litter in its tracks while saving valuable space in your home. Cats enter the unit from the second story and walk across a mesh platform and down into the litter box below. When the cat exits the unit, they once again walk over the mesh platform where any litter that was attached to their feet falls back down into the litterbox, capturing litter inside of the unit instead of spreading it throughout your home. The unit features a front zippered opening for easy access to the litterbox, and a mesh window for ventilation that also makes your cat feel secure by being able to see out of the unit while inside. A removable bottom tray is included to trap any excess litter that your cat may have kicked out of the litter box. Set up takes seconds and no tools are required. Alright…I’m Impressed
I was skeptical but hopeful when buying this. My two cats track litter EVERYWHERE, and I feel like we tried every litter track mat under the sun. This thing…surprisingly works! It’s not perfect, but my house is significantly cleaner, and it does help control the smell a bit without making the litter box into a disgusting outhouse for my cats. I have two senior cats and I was a little worried they wouldn’t like the change, but they adapted in less than a day and seem to have no problem with it. I did take the divider out (just velcros out) to make it less claustrophobic for my cats. They are large, but not overweight cats.It’s also very attractive looking in our laundry room. Be sure to measure your area! This thing is not small. Super easy to put together – took me less than 10 minutes to unwrap, assemble, and slide the cover on.By the way, if you use a scooper that clips onto the side of the litter box, you can hang it off the side since the whole thing is surrounded by a metal frame! Very cool perk.

I affectionately call this the “Kitty Outhouse.” It most certainly does *not* make my cat any cleaner when kicking around in the litterbox, but it does contain and hide the mess — and that’s really all I can hope for. Good design, easy to wipe down the inside walls when the litter sticks (if needed), and the espresso color is pretty accurate to the product picture. It is pretty large, though, so make sure you check the dimensions for your space and see if the footprint really works. I have mine tucked away in an alcove, but if it was in an area I have to walk by, it would definitely be an obstruction. Also, the rug/mat works almost TOO WELL!!! It’s actually a bit of a struggle to get the tracked litter OUT of the rug crevices – I’ve shaken it outside and also used a hefty vacuum – but so far it’s not an actual problem. Maybe in a couple months when it accumulates more, I’ll be irritated, haha. Overall, would recommend!

Git it to help with litter tracking and dust control. Cats seem to really like it. I have 2 cats and a large box inside and they both started to exclusively use it over the other box I had. Litter tracking has gone way down and only get dust when I pull the box out to clean it.

Strong and Beautiful Solution to Cat Waste Concealment
Read no further than this review. Just stop and buy it afterwards.One key thing to do when you first receive this. Let it air out outside for a day. The smell will clear up.Two key things to ask yourself that may not make it for you:1) Does your cat jump on top of everything?If your cat does, as other reviewers have said, it doesn’t have a roof make specifically for upper support, but it’s not floppy either as others have exaggerated. Two bars go across the top and the material is pretty strong. You could possibly remedy this with a folded blanket or cat bed. Worth a try.2) Do you have the room? It’s about 2x2x2 feet.Commentary:- I have a large litter box. It’s about 1.5×2 feet. It fits in there, but needs to be put in after I set the mat and top down.- The material is thick! It is textured on the outside and rubbery on the inside. Very well made. Worth the $- The mat is thick! Almost an inch thick. The cat has to walk around before leaving the box. What a great design! No other solution has this design!-This is the most natural looking and is pleasing to the eyes.-Litter dust is trapped in here even with the vents at the top. No more dust on your furniture!Considering Something Else?:If you are considering other options. There aren’t any. They’re all unwieldy and ugly plastic boxes. They don’t have the walk around design which is the only solution to cats tracking litter, as they love to just hop straight out and kick it everywhere. There will still be some, but it will be reduced to specks at a time.False Concern Others Have Mentioned:Some have said how easy it is to move and the top isn’t attached to the mat. I have this placed on a smooth floor, in a corner (Where else will you put this? In the middle of the room?) The corner means that’s two places the cat can scratch to potentially move the top off the mat. One wall of the top has no house wall next to it, and guess what? The cat scratched ’til kingdom come and the top didn’t move off the mat. The fourth wall for the cat to scratch is the walkway wall, no good leverage for it to be moved with that one. Again, my cat litter box is large, so this likely helps with that, but you could possibly remedy this by placing something on the outside of that wall to keep it there. OR you may not even have this problem. Sometimes people complain just because they hadn’t eaten yet or they just had a bad commute home. You never really know with negative reviews sometimes.Have a nice day with your new, beautiful, and smell enhancing cat waste concealment furniture.Update 3 Years Later, 2022: The cat has made holes near the front zipper where it habitually scratches after using the litter box. Not very large holes over 3 years. About 3-4 inches. Still in great condition besides those.

Revolutionary and Genius!
I have finally found something to cover up my bulky litter box and the litter that is always scattered on my tile flooring. The Pet Gear Pro Pawty for cats is GENIUS! This product is so convenient and easy to use. It took practically no time to set up and has many features that I love! The LittertraX mat keeps all of the messy litter that was once on the floor trapped on the mat, thanks to the interior wall that forces my cat to walk around to leave the litter box. The LittertraX mat can easily be taken out and cleaned without the hassle. It also has a convenient zipper on the front side of the unit where I can simply unzip to access the litter box inside. My cat easily adapted to the design of the product. We have kittens on the way and I know we’ll be purchasing at least one more in the near future. Thank you Pet Gear for this revolutionary product for cats!
