best way to control your dog in a safe and smart manner
This is the perfect collar to use to maintain control over your dog. Our dog sometimes can get into garbage left our local park, or be lured into an unsafe space, or just manifest a behavior we don’t like (such as barking at guests in our home)…with a gentle beep, our Bubba immediately runs back to our side and stops the unwanted behavior. Bubba now just sees us take the remote out and can stop the unwanted behavior before we even press anything. We have recommended this collar to many friends and everyone thinks its a godsend. Its also super convenient because the remote is sleek and easy to carry — not bulky and cumbersome like some other kinds — you’ll see in my pic below, I can carry my coffee and leash and let the remote hang from my wrist. Highly recommend!

Pretty effective adjustable strength dog training collar.My darling maltese has improved tremendously in refraining from barkingIncessantly. My neighbors are even more pleased.A great solution to barking, biting or just overall bad behavior. This device provides bad behavior modification at its best.Spent thousands of dollars on contraptions and private instructor training visits that didn’t work.

Very effective and efficient
Our golden doodle likes to wonder and we live on a farm, but he could easily find the main road if he tried. This was definitely a lifesaver for us! All you have to do is make the sound and he’ll start running back to the house and it’s helped to set his boundaries to where he now knows where he can and cannot go. Our doodle has even been swimming with his on and it still works perfectly!

Weird prong extender for shock feature
Update 90 days later: lowered to three stars instead of four, however this is still a decent collar, but there’s a slight design flaw. The on/off switch is on the inside of the power unit so that it presses against the dog’s neck and will occasionally turn off because it doesn’t take much pressure to turn the switch off. Other reviewers have talked about the unit stopped working, and I’m inclined to think it’s because the on/off switch was inadvertently turned off by the dog maybe playing around with another dog. It’s not worked 4 different times for me and three times it was because the switch had been turned off and once because it was out of power. I can also confirm that the collar is waterproof as advertised as long as the rubber cover is over the charging port. My dog got out, went to play in the canals, was soaking wet and the collar still worked. Bought this looking for a lightweight device with reasonable distance ~ 3000 ft over flat land. This looked like it might fit the bill. It’s lightweight all I need is the beep and the buzzer. I don’t need the shock feature and previously I have used pet trainer brand that work great except it was really heavy My dog’s only 45 lb.I can see what people might have a problem with the shock on this because you have to add sort of a u/v shaped aluminum extender to the prongs that actually touch the dog. When I looked at it, it looked like something you would put on the wall to tie the excess cord up from a blind or a rope but no it’s supposed to shock the dog.It’s the first time I’ve ever seen anything like that and it seems kind of weird. And I believe it might explain why people have problems with the shock part of this collar.So far the beep and the buzz works just fine The distance is reasonable, I’m still checking the battery life if it’s bad or the distance is not true I’ll come back and update my review with the three star instead of four.If you’re looking for the shock feature I would stay away from this and try one that doesn’t require some sort of weird shock extender device

Very good quality
The collar has a strong yet soft material, and you can tell it’s high quality. The vibrations can be easily adjusted, and my dog responded very well to it. It fits perfectly and looks great on. I recommend it !!

Better than expected!
I purchased 2 of these and they are great. I cannot speak to the shock part because my dogs come back by the sound. The battery life is excellent and I only charge maybe once a month but they also do not wear these all the time – only when going outside. It says that the remote is not waterproof however, I dropped one in the yard one evening and it rained about an inch before turning to snow. There was bout a 1/4 in of snow and I did not find the remote for a couple days when the snow melted. To my surprise, it still worked. The color is adjustable and can fit almost any size dog. The buckles are made of heavy duty plastic and east to use. My propery is 1.5 acres and the remotes work from across the whole property. You definately get more than you pay for with these remotes.

I put it on my new puppy and works great. He listens to me better. He was going out on the road and that’s why I got it. I only use the beeper so far. A few times with the vibrate but I don’t think I would use the shocker. Works with just the beeper. You have to beep at the same time you give him or her a command. I just love it.
