Nevermind, that’s illegal, at least in Texas. But this little gadget does work really well. It’s tiny it’s magnetic and it’s accurate. Think there is a monthly subscription fee for tracking. Nothing too expensive. And it’s easy to set up, even for the technologically challenges. Just follow directions carefully on where to place it for best accuracy. Happy tracking;)

Update: This is GREAT – was ” I got a defective unit or there is some unrecognized obstruction”
I received the unit on Saturday afternoon and went for a bike ride around a golf course (very little trees) and placed in a plastic cup holder point face up to the sky to record at 1 minute intervals. I came home and it tracked me perfectly saying it had 78% battery. Sunday I went for a ride and it didn’t track me at all . I assume this was the battery level at at 9-10%. So I charged it up to 25% (a few hours of charging) went for a ride. It reported me at a couple of places on the same golf course trip. Maybe it was weather, maybe something else but I put it on charger over night. In the morning the red light was on solid (stating full charge). It shown 100% full on charger but as soon as I disconnected it from charger it said 97%. I went on my ride at 7 am on same golf course path. I came home and the map shown scribbles like it took random readings at random times – not following my path. I contacted tech support who gave me reboot instructions which sounded valid (maybe the unit has something cached – lets discharge it and let it sync back up). So I shut down the unit , took out battery for 2 minutes (more like 10 but they said 2), put it back in, turn it on, let it sit in direct line of sight to the sky for 20 minutes. I checked it 30 minutes later and it reported location (GPS) and battery 86%. I went for a ride. I looked at it a ta few stops near my house and it reported right. I went for my ride and came back and again it missed my golf course path I ride, the one that reported correctly on Saturday. I contacted tech support again. They told me it could be the weather, building could be blocking it (not on a golf course) , don’t put it in a box (is a plastic cup holder a box?), weak cell tower signals, etc.I can see those being real valid points. I just don’t get why it got exponentially worse. The tech support guy did try to help but I don’t think this is device is strong enough to do what it claims. If I can use my phone (google maps) to show me where I am, and this device (set at 1 minute interval) reports randomly between 1 and 30 minutes (unless the battery is low). Even an inaccurate reading somewhere on the path would be acceptable. I wanted to use this for protecting my bike. But if someone stole it, chances are the last reading of my bike would be at my house. I bought this based on lowest price and lower subscription rate. I need to purchase something a little more expensive it appears.Big plus – this unit is thesis of a small box of matchesEverything else just didn’t live up to its reported hype (except on day 1)EDIT – they did refund me back the 2 year subscription I purchased but deducted $24 for 1 month of use although I used it 2 days and cancelled due to its inability to function. Be careful dealing with this companyUPDATE (June 21):The company reached out to me and was genuinely concerned about my issue. After a discussion, they generously reactivated my account to work my problem. I provided information (screenshots show my path my phone tracked me and the Tracki device) and other data. The immediately responded and confirmed “something up with my device” and are sending a replacement.Customer service is awesome. Bumping rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Once I get replacement and it works, this will be 5 stars*They really do care about their productJuly 2Had the new unit and did a recharge. Rode around. It works as advertised. The Tracki Team (Jared and Kris) were awesome with supporting me. Totally concerned that I am 100% satisfied*My first unit was just damaged – the replacement works all of the time, is accurate, and charges fastI bought this for an electric bike I own – and I hid it on the bike. VERY IMPRESSEED!!! Very accurate while we were in Europe
Purchased two Trackis in July 2024 for use when traveling abroad. VERY IMPRESSED with the speed of location updates when traveling to France and Switzerland. It was nice see the location of our luggage as soon as we exited the aircraft. It gave us a great sense of peace knowing that our luggage arrived with us. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Après avoir testé plusieurs traqueurs par le passé, ce produit est une véritable révélation pour moi. Non seulement il est intuitif, mais il est également fourni avec une carte SIM, un détail souvent négligé par d’autres fabricants. Certains pourraient hésiter à cause de l’abonnement mensuel, mais pour un montant allant de 14 € à 18 €, il offre un service mondial illimité, ce qui est inestimable lors de mes déplacements internationaux.La précision de la localisation est impressionnante, me permettant de localiser mes biens précieux à environ 2 mètres près, ce qui est rassurant lorsque je voyage avec des équipements coûteux. L’abonnement peut être annulé à tout moment, ce qui offre une grande flexibilité. Le prix de lancement sur Amazon, à seulement 19 €, est incroyablement compétitif ; à mon avis, ce traqueur pourrait facilement coûter le triple.L’utiliser avec mon chien lors de nos sorties à la plage a également été une bénédiction. La plage étant un espace vaste, il est rassurant de savoir que je peux le localiser en cas de besoin. En paramétrant le traqueur en temps réel pour mon chien, la batterie tient tout de même 2 à 3 jours, ce qui est largement suffisant pour le retrouver en cas de perte pendant nos sorties.L’application est non seulement user-friendly, mais aussi extrêmement complète. Le service client est aussi digne de mention pour son efficacité. Un mot sur la batterie : sa durée de vie est impressionnante si vous ajustez correctement les paramètres. Il est inutile d’avoir une mise à jour de la localisation toutes les minutes. Pour mon utilisation personnelle, un rafraîchissement toutes les 2 à 3 heures suffit amplement, permettant à la batterie de durer jusqu’à trois mois. C’est tout simplement incroyable.En somme, ce produit offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix et je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui cherchent un traqueur fiable. C’est sans aucun doute un produit 5 étoiles pour moi.

Preso a dicembre, provato solo ora che siamo in Agosto.Comprato per vedere la posizione esatta di mio figlio in gita ( saltata), ho fatto ora l’abbonamento di un mese con possibilità di aggiornamento ogni 15 secondi, dato che ci sposteremo, e provandolo posso dire che è molto preciso nella localizzazione.Non prende bene nei parcheggi sotterranei dei centri commerciali, ma fino all’ingresso da pienamente il suo lavoro.Consente anche ( in modalità traker) di vedere il percorso fatto, anche se questa modalità consuma un pochino più la batteria, anche perché lascia il tutto nella cronologia, se invece si usa solamente come rilevatore di posizione c’è un grande risparmio di batteria, ma non lascia traccia in cronologia delle posizioni o tragitti eseguiti, da solo la posizione in tempo reale premendo sul tasto aggiornamento.La durata della batteria dipende tutto da come si usa, io ad ora lo sto stressando parecchio, e sono già 2 giorni pieni di utilizzo al max delle prestazioni ed sto a poco più del 20%, quindi usandolo magari solo come rilevatore di posizione sicuramente si superano i 4 o 5 giorni di utilizzo ( ovviamente più volte si aggiorna la posizione, più batteria si consuma in qualsiasi modalità di utilizzo)Concludendo, che dire, rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo, precisione anche, abbonamento per la scheda SIM ( integrata) con grande possibilità di scelta su varie fasce di prezzo e di durata.Lo consiglio vivamente e per i veicoli, o anche se dovete tracciare la posizione di qualcuno ( esempio gita del figlio)
