Great design and functionality!
This is a great cat toy! I’ve had this for a few months now and can say I am very happy with the purchase. At first I was concerned that the laser might hurt my cat’s eyes so I attached the base to a bookcase about 5’ from the floor so the laser is angled downward onto the floor. But the cats don’t stare into the laser and we use it only when the lights are on or it is daylight outside. The laser-head twists off very easily from the base to recharge. The laser-head can be adjusted easily and widely to aim in the most optimal position. The laser moves around in a way that is very engaging for the cats. I also like how it shuts off after no movement from the cats for a while, then comes back on when motion is detected. My cats look forward to playing with it every morning after they eat and also after dinner. I wouldn’t recommend leaving it on all the time because they start to ignore it. It’s great for when they want to play and you want to sit on the couch.The battery lasts a long time. A really great cat toy! Very well made!

Great for Multi-Pet Households
As a foster parent with up to 7 cats, playtime was getting tough—until I found the Potaroma Smart Sensor Cat Laser. It’s easy to use, charges quickly, and keeps my cats (and even dogs!) entertained for hours. For just $17.99, it’s durable, fun, and totally worth it. My cats love it so much they try to turn it on themselves!To operate just simply plug it into the USB charger for a few hours once every two weeks. I attach it to my bookcase and push the on button. It has a few different user modes to fit your household.

id say its a reasonable price, wouldnt put it on a door, finding out the angle that works for you can be tricky, put it in a place that you can charge it because it dies after 2 hours and turns off randomly for a good minute or two?😂🤣

My cats love this toy!
My instantly loved it. I bought them the most popular cat laser in amazon and it died in under 3 weeks. They were only mildly entertained. They have spent the last 45 mins since I put it up playing with it. The other one just had a 2 hour timer. They could be napping and it’s running. This one they figured out already to get it to work they just walk near it. They used to cry for me to turn on their other laser. It was already on but it needed its 2 hour cool down. So I’d have to turn it off and back on again. Hands down this is a sweet toy. I haven’t seen them take to something fast. I didn’t need to do anything. The movement the laser makes gets them going. It moves back and forth when it pauses. You can watch their heads track the laser. I feel like this is one of the best toys I’ve bought them so far.

Best smart laser
I work 10 hour shifts so I am always looking for new smart toys to keep my cat stimulated. This is by far the best smart laser I’ve tried. It has the most random laser pattern that keeps my cat’s interest and, because the laser pattern is so versatile, you can create different experiences for your kitty depending on where you place it. It also works while it’s charging which is great!I first place the laser on my night stand while charging and it created an interesting experience in the narrow space between my bed frame and dresser. The laser does a great job of rounding corners on furniture and stays low enough that they won’t jump on top of anything, but high enough to get them reaching up on their back legs. After it fully charged I mounted it on top of a door to give my kitty a wider experience.I love that this laser has a movement sensor or you can put it on a timer. It’s also super quiet. The variety of patterns give your kitty a lot of opportunity to stalk, pounce, and chase.I haven’t tested the battery life yet, but will check tonight after my 10 hour shift.

Nice idea, bad pattern..
I wanted to wait to write my review after having this for a few weeks. My cat had a litter of kittens so I wanted something to keep them busy. When I first got it I charged it and turned it on, my first thought was that whoever designed the pattern doesn’t know much about how cats play. None my cats seem to be interested in it with it on automatic mode. It’s great on handheld mode, the laser is very bright, but defeats the purpose. It is very quiet and lasts pretty long on a charge.If it had different patterns or even the ability to record your own, this thing would be a gold mine. I did accidently drop it once and it didn’t affect it at all, so it must be made well. The design is awesome because the head doesn’t move, it works off mirrors, but the pattern itself is just wrong, wish it couldn’t be adjusted.

It keeps them active and entertained, and it’s great to have something that they can play with on their own. The motion sensor works well, and it turns on when they’re nearby, which is super convenient.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the laser moves way too fast. If there’s a way to slow it down, I haven’t found it yet. When the laser zips around so quickly, my cats get discouraged and stop trying to chase it.What I’ve noticed is that when I hold the toy in my hand and pause the laser, they lock in on it and have the best time ever. So I know the toy itself works it just needs a slower speed setting to really let the cats enjoy the chase.Overall, it’s a great product that your cats will love just be ready to step in and adjust if it’s moving too fast for them.
