IT’S WORTH IT
So, my wild tribe had issues with this water fountain at first. I had it set to auto for a 15 second spit out. They were all accustomed to just a water bowl. However, within the first week of having it next to their “normal” water bowl they gravitated right to it. This is the best water fountain EVER!!! I do recommend getting extra filters and such. It’s quiet, the charge on it lasts for a VERY long time! The grips on the bottom keep it from sliding around when my #1 whack job likes to play around it. I was worried she would stand in it, bounce off it, you name it she would do it – however it’s solid!!! I did research on these and it’s so easy to clean, it’s worth the value for the money! The functionality is spot on! The size accommodates all my tribe quite well! Don’t worry, this is definitely worth the $$.

Wonderful Reliable Cat Water Fountain
Great water fountain that my cats love. Beats having to rinse/refill 5 bowls twice a day. Unit is easy to set up and also very quick and easy to clean, change both filters and refill. Takes about 25 mins. Instructions for unit are clear and easy to understand.Did have a problem with the motion sensor failing but contacted Smartoo via Amazon and they sent out an entire new unit within two days. In the meantime, I kept the fountain on continuous operation so kitties still got their fresh water.Really love this fountain as do my kitties. Definitely worth the money.

Works well, but there is a problem
I love the quiet operation of this watering system. I was replacing an earlier unit that required a plug. I researched the wireless, battery operated systems and finally decided this unit was the best. I really do love it, and my kitties transitioned to it easily.I purchased a backup “host” and pump unit and filters, so there would be zero lag time when battery needs charged.I purchased this on August 18 this year. It is October 20, and after being gone for 14 hours I arrived home to find two stressed and thirsty kitties. Apparently the pump quit working during my absence.I’ve only ever used purified water in it. The filters are clean and have been replaced weekly. I don’t understand why it quit. The lights and proximity sensor function as they should, but the pump itself does not work at all. I put it in a clear glass of water to test it. The motor hummed about 3 seconds and it spit out a dribble of water before the motor quit. Removing the tube between pump and “host” I used an eyedropper to force water through the “host” and it all came out cleanly. No debris in pump or tube.So beware of faulty pumps! I guess there is only a 30 day guarantee, so I’m stuck.

Do NOT buy! Pump doesn’t work & cheap plastic parts and tray.
From day 1 the pump has never worked as advertised or stay charged for more than 1-3 days. This is sleek and quiet when it does work, and after scouring reviews I had high hopes I wasn’t going to be one of the 1 start failed pumped victims. But here we are. Within days of getting and setting this up and trusting it worked and pumped water as advertised, I came home to the battery icon 100% full, full fountain, and no water pumping or in the tray, and 3 very thirsty kitties. Because of this, I always keep backup bowls and multiple plug in fountains going as this could have ended in tragedy if I trusted this fountain and was gone for more than 1 day.After coming home to a full battery but no pumping water multiple days in a row, I found the pump had to ALWAYS be plugged in to work at all. Which was doable (despite the entire point of a wireless fountain and much higher price tag) as I could move the fountain near an outlet. But too late to return or exchange this one. I clean this weekly, especially since there is unfortunately plastic in and on this that quickly gets “slimy” and stinky, and after having and using this for less than 6 months it no longer works at all. Even when plugged in 100% of the time. The battery shows full once plugged, the other icons light up and flash on and off, but zero water comes out. And then everything dies after about 30 seconds of being plugged in.At this point it’s worthless as anything but an overpriced metal bowl as the pump is and has always been useless. And without the pump, the trays and all of the extra filters I purchased (assuming this was higher quality and actually worked as advertised and for more than several months) are worthless and a waste of money.Do NOT buy this unless you plan to set this by an outlet when the pump quickly and inevitably fails, if it even works properly to begin with. And in my experience, quickly failed even whilst plugged in at all times. Which 100% defeats the purpose of spending much more for a wireless fountain. So DISAPPOINTING!

Not chin acne friendly, but a good pump!
I bought this bowl when it was on sale to replace an aging fountain when I ran out of filters. Though purchased in November, I ended up not using it until June.IF YOUR CAT SUFFERS FROM CHIN ACNE, BUY WITH CAUTION!My Princess suffered from chin acne when I had a plastic fountain, but it went away when I got a stainless steel fountain. Though this fountain has a stainless bowl and base, the piece where you lay the filter and the bowl are still plastic. Two weeks after starting to use this fountain, Princess’ acne came back with a vengeance!The fountain is very nice, holds a lot of water, and is super quiet. However, the plastic obviously still harbors the bacteria that causes feline chin acne. It’s too late for me to return this, plus the pump to my older metal fountain is dying, so I intend to find a way to hook up the pump from this to the 100% metal fountain I have.4 stars because it’s still a good fountain, would be better if they find a way to make the filter base metal as well.

A miracle for my elderly cat with kidney disease
My 19-yr-old car has stage 3 kidney disease and this fountain is giving him a better quality of life. I have another fountain in the kitchen by his food, but placed this one in his favorite hangout, my bedroom. When he walks past it, it starts trickling water and that always makes him stop, turn around, and go drink from it. This helps hydrate him and flush his kidneys. And it’s much less stressful for him than the fluid infusions with an IV were.

Es silenciosa. Solo se prende con el movimiento. Se recarga cada 3 a 4 semanas. No usa pilas. Se puede dejar conectado y que fluya el agua continuamente en lugar de intermitente. Tiene forma de ver la cantidad de agua que le queda.Tenemos otra fuente y esta la amé porque es mucho más fácil de lavar. Los repuestos de filtro tienen un precio razonable.

The product works , unfortunately it doesn’t hold the charge for very long !! Although it states it’s a very efficient battery,this is why I bought it, I threw out the box ,I would like a new battery!Please!!
