I can’t say enough good things about this 4-pack of Air Tags! From the moment I set them up using the Apple Find My app, they worked seamlessly. Setup was super easy — just a few taps and each tag was ready to go. Cheap alternative to AirTags, need some refinement
These were easy to set up and worked well… except one of the tags failed during the first use. I had it in a suitcase to make sure the checked bag reached its destination and it died the first day due to it having a dead battery. I would suggest opening and testing each tag’s battery before using and relying on them so you can avoid a similar issue. I would have expected a brand new item to have a brand new battery. I’m also docking a star for how difficult it was to change the battery: AirTags have a press-and-twist method which is simple, whereas these have to line up exactly and utilize a thin gasket that easily slips out of place. These have potential but also room for improvement.

PROS: It’s a fraction of the price of AirTags and they work perfectly with the iPhone, and even allow sharing it!The Bluetooth range is awesome, they have a button that allows turning it off, if needed, and they are extremely light.CONS: They feel more fragile, the plastic shell is a lot thinner than the Apple product – but totally OK, and the sound they make is a lot fainter, like 50% quieter.Durability unknown at this time. Maybe not the best for a kid’s backpack or these sorts of careless use.
