Awesome can, does the job, and no odor escapes…well, unless you open it! Just super convenient to have when you have a super pooper running around the yard. Good quality and it comes with a healthy supply of bags.

It’s pretty well made. The only problem I have with it is the round trash can is narrower than the poop holder so that when you empty into the trash can poop drops off the side. There was an option for a square trash can that I wish I would have gone with. I think it was more expensive but would have been worth it. I have two 80 lb dogs and can usually make it a week between liner exchanges.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am loving this item. Easy to use. I like that I can open with my foot. I think the carbon filter does help because when I’m right next to it I do t smell anything. I liked it was not too small and not too big. I highly recommend it. I also like that I can take out the inner lining if I want to. I use the bags sent with it so only had to do it once but it was easy.

It’s decent but not great.
The paint wears away when used outdoors. It’s difficult to clean because the lid doesn’t open fully. The capacity is great, but the build quality feels cheap. The lid alignment isn’t great and sometimes it doesn’t close using the pedal. It seems to misalign from time to time when stepping on it to open.

This little step trash can is so perfect! Living in the “wilds” of a tropical area, I’m not inlined to walk all the way to the back of the house to throw away a little poop bag after I walk the dog at night. I’m usually on high alert, having been tensely scanning the area for gators while the little prince stalls as long as possible so he can explore longer!Having to traipse down a darkened drive and then lift the trash lid that could have spiders, lizards, or the errant raccoon rustling about–I had my fill of fun times so I was just droping them at the end of the sidewalk and having to pick them up the next day (usually after they sweltered for a few hours…) ick!Problem solved!This cute little 3-gallon trash can sits right at the corner of the porch by the front door. So simple! Tap the pedal, drop the poop bag in, and sweep right into the house! This is one of those things I didn’t know I needed until I got it. I like that it has an easy lift-out pail and it’s rained a deluge a couple times since I’ve gotten it–doesn’t leak/take on water and more importantly didn’t get blown away! Sturdy little thing!While it comes with a rather large carbon disc that attaches to the lid with a strong magnet, I don’t care what kind of container it is–when you open it, you’ll smell it. Especially because this is black and is hit with the sun rising from the east for about four hours, it’s a hot climate here. BUT! While it is closed, this literally sits right next to my front door and I walk by it several times a day, I’ve never smelled dog crap wafting from it when it is closed.That was a dilemma–having the black hides a lot of weathering, but helps to steam the contents vs getting the white one, which would easily get dirty on the porch but be less “steamy.” Happily, this has not turned into an issue since the only time I have to hold my nose is when I open it.It came with two rolls of bags. I just keep them at the bottom of the can and put the open bag on top of them. Plus, if I pull up a few weeds or pick up any debris in the yard, the can is large enough for me to drop that stuff in and go. No more trips to the “critter play area!” I leave that to my other half. Superb trash can!
Very nice dog toiletry bucket. It makes cleanup easy, you dont have to touch anything the pedal opens the lid and its a quiet shutting mechanism! It goes down slow, doesnt make a loud bang! It has inserts at the top for the charcoal they give you to help with smells! This is a super addition to any yard! I would even go as far as using it for cat litter clean up and then take it out at the end of the day!
