Awesome camera!
I wish I had bought this sooner! I like to keep an eye on my chickens to see who is laying and who isn’t and this has been the best thing I have put in my coop! The app is incredible and has so many features. Battery life isn’t an issue since I keep mine plugged in. The picture quality is really good and during the day, it’s in full color. I only wish I had bought this sooner! It runs on wifi and this device is about 60 feet away from the back of my house and it has no issues connecting to my wifi. From this purchase, my family decided to get several cameras to put around the property. The app costs I think $20 a year, so it’s very affordable. So happy with this purchase.

Great quality at an affordable price
I really like the Wyze Cam v4. It was easy to set up and started working right away. The picture is super clear, even at night. I was surprised by how well the color night vision works in the dark.The app is easy to use. I can check the camera from my phone, get alerts when it sees movement, and even talk through the camera. I also like that I can choose what areas to watch, so I don’t get too many alerts.It works both inside and outside, and it still works well even when it rains. For the price, this camera is awesome. I feel much safer with it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a smart, simple security camera

For the price you can’t go wrong
For such a cheap camera it seriously packs a punch. Compared to my substantially more expansive ring doorbell camera, I way prefer the image coming from the camera, the lowlight performance is REALLY GOOD, doesn’t require a subscription to be usable, and has a micro SD slot to record locally. I’ve had it outside where it gets rained on all the time and it’s held up perfectly. The spotlight isn’t that bright, but still may be useful in some scenarios. I can’t say for sure if it’s truly 2.5k, but I’m impressed by the resolution when zooming in. Overall it’s amazing for the price and I’ll probably get more in the future.

Great Camera – Bad for recording events and downloading
This camera is straight up on point and I would have given it 5 stars if not for ONE FATAL FLAW. So lets go through the pros and consPROS:1. Easy Setup and connectivity2. Super sharp image3. great performance even outdoors4. compact design5. Micro SD card slotCONS:1. Useless with recovering a recorded video (let me explain)Remember that Micro SD card slot which is designed to record video. If you use the app to view the video it will play great. However, if you remove the SD card slot to download the video this is where the design falls apart.The video is broken into 1 minute intervals. Let;s say you manually recorded an event that was on your camera that lasted an hour and a half. Now you have to find the folder for the day in question….Then find the folder for the hour (in this case and hour and half… two folders) in question….. within this folder you will have 60 videos (60 seconds in length)…..now you have to import it into a video editing software and stitch these 90 video segments together. so that you now have the video that you asked the software to manually record in the first place. That you should have the ability to download in its entirety. WYZE you got to do better than that. Other than that one aspect…great camera.

I’ve been using WYZE cameras since they launched their very first model, and I’ve tried nearly every version since. Each generation improved in small ways, but the Cam v4 is a big leap forward. Hands down, this is the best camera they’ve made so far.Let’s start with video quality — the 2.5K QHD resolution is sharp, detailed, and a noticeable upgrade from earlier models. Whether it’s daytime or night, the image clarity is excellent. You can see fine details like license plates, facial features, and small movements from a distance. The color night vision is especially impressive — bright, vivid, and much more usable than traditional black-and-white IR footage.This camera is wired, not battery-powered, which I personally prefer. It means no worrying about charging or battery life — it just stays on and works. That makes it ideal for continuous recording, and it’s been running 24/7 without any hiccups. WYZE gives you options for local microSD storage (which I use) and cloud recording if you want to subscribe.Setup was easy as always — WYZE’s app has improved a lot over the years. It recognized the camera quickly, and I had it up and running in minutes. The motion detection is smarter now too. AI tagging for people, pets, and packages is accurate and cuts down on false alarms. I’m getting notified for things that matter — not every shadow or bug flying past.Build quality is solid. It feels rugged and secure. I’m using it outside my front entrance and it’s handled wind, rain, heat, and direct sun like a champ. No fogging, no water intrusion, no overheating. The magnetic mount is strong, and the cable is long enough for flexible placement.Two-way audio is clear, with very little lag. I’ve used it to speak with delivery people and can hear responses clearly. It’s a nice bonus, especially for anyone wanting to use this as a door cam or baby monitor.Bottom line: if you’ve used WYZE before, this feels like their most “complete” and reliable camera yet. If you’re new to smart cams, this is the one to start with. I’ve already ordered a second one for my backyard and plan to phase out my older WYZE cams with more v4s over time.Highly recommended.

Muy buena cámara, tiene muy buena definición en la noche y en el día. Los sonidos son muy nítidos. Es fácil de instalar y si ya tienes otra cámara de la misma marca, nada más la agregas a la app muy fácil.
