Easy to connect to cell phone
The Jarnex smart camera was simple to setup and use. The directions were well written and easy to understand. The camera has I.R. lights around it for the camera to work in the dark. This I.R. light feature can also be turned off in the settings inside the App. The App can stream the video live in real time from the camera through the connected Wi-Fi. The App was able to change any settings needed for the camera. The picture quality from the camera is good.

Horrible Device
The video quality on this camera is amazing, but the software is HORRIBLE.My partner and I both followed the installation and app instructions. The camera would either connect then disconnect within minutes, or would refuse to connect altogether.Adding the camera to our wifi also caused issues with every single device on the network. We had to remove and add our network to each device again.Because the camera and sound quality is so good, this would be a great buy if the software were better.

Functional, but should advertise the Smart Life app!
This camera is function and seemed to work pretty well. The image quality isn’t the best, but it is certainly better than many of these off the shelf cameras. The instructions are sparse, but enough, and do lead you through the process. I did not test the Jarnex app at all because I recognized the app images as the Smart Life app. I have a number of IoT devices in it already from lights to air purifiers. It’s a HUGE addition to be able to support this app due to the large amount of devices you can have in one place. I dislike that the Jarnex app appears to just be a clone of the Smart Life app.But, using the Smart Life app, the camera was recognized instantly and added seamlessly. The settings were pretty good, allowing adjustments of everything needed from orientation to audio controls to IR configuration. Recording and two-way audio worked without a hitch. I did notice a few times where the live stream cut out and I had to reconnect, but the recording continued to work so not a big deal.The mounting and power cord the camera comes with is… interesting. It’s basically 3M Command strips, but in a circle form, and the camera comes pre-mounted with one on it. It’s designed that you can stick them on the wall or whatever, then move it around if needed. The retractable cord is kind of silly due to the large block of plastic it requires. I think I would prefer to just use a zip tie or whatever by the power source if there was extra cord instead of having this large plastic circle hanging around halfway between. The mounting does come with enough to mount it too, but I opted to just use a different USB-C cable instead.Overall, the camera is pretty nice and a fair price. But use the Smart Life app instead if you can!

Had some troubles setting this up. When connected it has a good camera picture quality. Not happy with the app or lack of instructions. I guess if you can get it set up properly on your wifi without issues it could be a good monitor.

Excellent Camera
This little camera and accompanying app is easy to use and gives great results, color and image quality os good. The app is easy to use and sufficient for most applications, it can work with other smart devices in the home in similar format to other smart home devices although I have not figured that out yet.
