The best cone alternative ever!
This is the best alternative to a “cone” I’ve ever used. I will never put another Elizabethan collar on my dogs that is plastic or use the ones that are soft and solid colored when they can’t see peripherally. My girl’s attitude completely changed after I put this on, and, it is incredibly comfortable for her to sleep with it on as a headrest. It is saving our walls and door trim from all the whacking the other collars can do. I will definitely purchase again if needed.

What a fantastic game changer!
We will never use the dreaded plastic cone again!Our little Maltipoo is recovering from her spaying surgery, and this inflatable ādonutā cannot be beat!The size Medium fits perfectly on her size 10 inch tiny neck, the fabric is soft, and makes an awesome pillow for her to rest her head with it on. It is well made, inflates easily and holds the air consistently. The first night she slipped out of it a couple times, until we slid her collar into the three tabs sewn in, and voila! Problem solved! No more Houdini moves!Highly recommend this product!

Good except for
I did 4 stars because the inflate plug part digs into her, it is in a bad spot. Weāve put it up and down and when itās down it digs into her neck and when itās up it digs into her chinā¦. I wish they would have put it on the top corner or made it so it insets more. If we twist it so the opening is by her chin then her foot gets caught in it. (And she can reach her paws to lick them). And when we twist it a little like it is in the picture it ends up twisting all the way around in a short amount of time so the open part is by her chin. We got the size medium probably could have done large. Her neck is 12 1/2ā. Otherwise itās much better than the cone! Soft and she doesnāt run into everything.

Not for long muzzled dogs!
Was nice and soft and easy to inflate but did not work for my German shepherd as his muzzle is so long, he still could reach to lick his incision so had to use a regular cone.

Recommended as a daytime alternative to a cone
I got this as a comfortable alternative for my dog so she doesn’t have to wear a plastic cone all the time.My dog had to get 4 stables and I got this so she could wear it during the day under supervision and she seems to like it! She uses it as a pillow pretty much and she falls asleep easily with it.When ordering I’d double check the sizes of course.It was super easy to inflate, you just close the valve with the top one and inflate with the top valve easily. This is kinda like a bumper car for dogs, if my dog bumps into something she’s bumped away a little bit, which I like better than her hitting stuff with her cone.I will say though, that if not checking on it throughout the day, it could grow loose and your dog could accidentally take it off. I switch my dog from the donut to her cone for bedtime just to ensure she isn’t able to get to her staples.

Just ordered a back up one. She will mess up the fabric & it will need to be washed. Easy to blow up, stiff valves… two valves so you can inflate it pretty easily (I have COPD & use O2, so it’s pretty easy). Be sure the regular collar (neck collar vs. harness) fits well. The best part is she doesn’t knock things over like she does with a big plastic cone.

Soft and comfortable
My two boys were neutered today and were sent home with huge cones. The cones made healing more dangerous. Caused them to run into things and panicked because they were also still drugged. Luckily these arrived today and I was able to switch. Theyāre way more comfortable now and resting.Edit: by day two mine figured out how to take them off so these wonāt work for all dogs. Still stand by theyāre a good product as long as you can keep your dog from removing them.

I purchased this as our 7lb poodle was going after her boo boo from her anal gland. It fit her nicely and was very soft. I highly recommend this donut for dogs and cats to prevent them from scratching or biting their wounds. Itās super comfortable for my fur babyāshe had surgery and had to wear a cone for two weeks, and this allowed her to eat, drink, and sleep comfortably. It protects the back of the body perfectly, though it wonāt cover injuries to the eyes. Easy to inflate and washable, this is a must-have for any pet parent. Iām so happy with it!
