Discreet & Cute Trash Can
I bought 2 of these poop trash cans. So far they have been working well! I love how discreet they are, no one can tell they’re poop trash cans (especially annoying HOA). It also holds a great amount of poop bags. I empty it once a week on trash day and I never find it full, even with two dogs to clean up after.Only issue is that when it rains, water does get into it… kinda gross when emptying it out. But adding trash bags inside makes it a bit less gross. I wish it was waterproof. Other than that, I am happy with the purchase!

Does the job
The look is great and it holds up well but if it is exposed to the elements, especially rain, the lid is difficult to open until it dries out. Will take on water if a heavy rain comes but we use it regularly and one of the better options of all the affordable models available.

Buyer beware
I have never left a bad review for anything on Amazon, but I find it amazing that the return window closed for this on January 31 and it literally stopped opening the next day. The mechanism that you push on to have it open and close is not functioning at all. You cannot open the lid. I have another one of these from a different company that I’ve had for two years and it still works perfectly. Don’t waste your time with this one.

Cute but smelly after a month in the sun.
I am giving it 2 stars because it is cuter / more aesthetically pleasing than say a small metal trash can. However, beyond that now that I have been using it for about one month, I have to say the “double barrier” that is intended to guard smells does not do a good job after a while. It seems the plastic material the can is made out of holds on to smells. I wash the can and spray it with disinfectant spray with each bag change. The poop bags do not stay in the can for more than 2-3 days. Maybe with it being hot every outside doesn’t help much. Also what the other reviewers say about the spring for the lid not being great at springing the lid open with the plant piece on top is true. Anyway it’s cute but I wish the inside was not made of cheap plastic that holds on to smells.

Great trashcan for litter
I keep this next to the litter box enclosure and it is better than a litter jeanie. I scoop the litter and poop into the compostable dog bags and tie them and toss them into this little can, since my litter boxes are upstairs and it has made my life 10x easier, while keeping the aesthetic and the dog out of the cat poop.
