Great balance disc for dogs
Great quality, inflate by blowing it up manually (no pump included). It’s easy to blow up however and the super is great quality so it holds air week and is built to last.

cracks on the little nipples underneath and leaks
This product is horribly made. I ordered one, it sprung a leak shortly after getting it. Amazon sent me a replacement and after a short time, it also sprung a leak. When inflated it does not inflate uniformly, having sort of permanent indentations around the sides, and after using it for a while, one of nipples or tiny knobby things underneath will tear at its base, causing it to rapidly lose air and no longer work. I have thrown out two of these and will not get another one, at least not this size from this vendor.

Short on documentaion
I received my Balance Disc two days ago.However I have not been able to inflate it,let alone use it, as it arrived withoutan instruction / users manual.The description does not explicitly statethat a Users Manual is included, butthe absence of one severely limitsthe usefulness of this disk.I e-mailed a copy of this review to Jfit, and they immediately respondedthat the new manual is currently being printedand sent me instructions on how to blow upthe disc and how to use it.After I have tried it for a week or so Iwill again revise this review.Meanwhile I have upped it from 3 stars toa 4 stars based on the responsiveness of Jfit.

Improving Posture
At 47 years old, I have been using this 24″ disc for 1.5 years. Perfect to prevent stooped shoulders & back. I sit on this at my desk working as an accountant (8-12 hour days). It took about 2 weeks to build up to all day. Placed it in my existing office chair. Do not buy this for sitting if you have lower back or disc problems as it will cause you pain. I have osteoporosis and want to prevent a hunched back from forming. I do not inflate it fully. You have to find what works for you. I sit on it with my feet on the floor at shoulders width apart and my shoulders rolled back. My torso moves throughout the day to stay in balance. This has also helped me with some hip/groin pain (losing flexiblity as I age).I would buy from this seller again. Be warned…this product was shipped in a HUGE box (3 inches x 4 feet x 3 feet)

Edit from decent to wont inflate
Previously i bought this for rehabing my 50lb dog and said it was decent. Mind changed. Well if you use these right they are not meant to be fully inflated. But in this products case see the other crinkly disc images. They get an odd fold after a bit and it never goes away. It slowly cracksthe material and no patch will fix it. You cannot get the odd crease out and this product is a hrlard non bendable plastic. Just spend the extrs and get toto fit or fit paws.

Product came damaged
I actually am using this product for dog agility training. The product came in a damaged box. You can see that it was crushed at some point. This meant that the product actually is damaged. It’s usable, but definitely has indentations that were caused from being crushed. Additionally, the head of the plug that holds the air in was damaged. Half of the surface has been broken off. It is currently still holding air, but I have concerns that as I continue to use the product and need to reinflate it, that the lack of the full surface area is going to create an opportunity for air to leak out. Is there a way to get a replacement?

Not as advertised–no pump and not a great product on the whole.
This was advertised as including a *pump.* Arrived without a pump in a box that appeared to have been opened. Amazon sent a replacement and I returned the first balance disc (I had requested they merely send the pump but was told this was necessary). Arrived once again without a pump. At this point I don’t care to waste any more time on it. We inflated it by blowing into the air receiver. That was not a treat. It will not lie flat. Has two dents along the sides. I put it in the sunlight for a day hoping it would soften/settle out. But the dents won’t resolve even if you put weight/stand on the disc. Basically a big dud and if you cannot tell by now I definitely do not recommend. If you are looking for a Fitpaws replacement at a lower price, this is not it.

First disc received was defective. Material was also very stiff. Very uncomfortable and awkward to stand on. Had to wait a few weeks for the replacement to be shipped out since it was out of stock, but was worth the wait. The new disc is much better! Material is way more flexible. Does not lose any air. Purchased this to add to my ASD daughters sensory room. And she loves it! The disc is huge! Perfect to work on balancing skills and comfy to both sit and stand on. Definitely recommend it!

This piece of equipment is very slippery, and the material is so rigid that it deforms if you inflate it too much. It doesn’t offer a lot of flexibility in terms of adding air to increase the challenge. I bought it for my dog but I would be afraid to discourage him if he were to always be slipping on it, or it slipping away from him. The only plus is the size of it.
