So much better than a cone!
I’ve purchased 2 of these and love them. We call it the “1920s swimsuit”. My guy is so much happier wearing this than in a cone. Did great for a surgery affecting his side and a second surgery on his abdomen.There are a lot of snaps and they could potentially still chew at their stitches if eager. I did human tshirts for a previous surgery and this is so much easier and better coverage.Measure for sizing, they run small and do shrink when washed. My dog is about 35 lbs for reference, wearing and XL. I bought a second one size XXL and it’s a wee bit big.

Very well made. Fits close to recommended sizes and “snaps” are on top and high quality to hold the “onesy” in place!Recommend this product for quality of fabric, construction, fit, and overall quality. It’s a good buy!

Recovery suit that does not cover surgical site!
This was for a male dog that was neutered, the bottom half did not even come close to covering the surgical site. My dog is 60 pounds, a golden retriever so long and slim. The body fit well, the material is nice but the bottom half which is what I needed was like putting a g-string on a woman that needed a maxi-pad. Absolutely no genitalia coverage for a male or female dog. That my friend is why we purchased this “recovery suit”, not to look good but to cover the private parts. This was not good for what it is made for.

Smaller Fit – Difficult To Figure Out
We have a pit bull and thought this would be a nice summer outfit for him. However, we purchased a XL but it is really small for that size. The pup weighs about 50lbs and is short. The first time I put it on him I thought I had it on correctly but when I took him out he peed and it got all over it. I’ve turn it around multiple times trying to figure out which way it goes that will allow him to pee without getting on it but I’ve been unsuccessful. I washed it from him peeling in it but it must have shrunk because I tried to put it back on him another way and it was really tight and I struggled to get it off him. Literally thought I was going to have to cut it to get it off. He likes clothes so he was a champ but it scared me. This may work really well for a small dog. It is not really adjustable. It is hard to remove. It is not too stretchy. The fabric quality was fine, but it had a ton of snap buttons so again it isn’t easy to put on. I would not recommend for a mid size dog. I don’t recommend for a male dog and would suggest sizing up regardless. It’s cute on I think it just don’t work for us.

Works well, but sizing is an issue
Bought both the XXL and XXXL because neither size measured correctly according to the sizing chart. Not sure where they get their sizing for dogs, but IMHO, they need to rethink their measurements. I have a standard German Shepherd, 7 months old and 65 pounds. Neither of the two had all three measurements within the measuring guide. so, I went with the XXL simply for the neck and chest. No, she is not overweight. Was a little short in the body length, but it worked OK. Kept her from licking her incision site from her Spay surgery. She was also able to do her #1 and #2 business without removing it. She was comfortable in it and didn’t try to get it off. Goes on easy and snaps from her neck to her tail. Aside from the sizing issue, this worked out quite well.

Bodysuit for belly protection
This recovery suit is wonderful. My 94 lb bully/pit has very bad allergies and it causes an extreme rash on her belly. As her vet and I are working on the solution, this suit gives my fur baby a barrier between her belly and the ground. The material is soft and stretchy. And I love that she can wear it without it getting soiled when she goes potty.

Didn’t fit my pup, missed the return. But a good product from the looks
Really wanted to love this because the proportions seemed about right for my dog. Unfortunately he’s built kinda of hefty in the chest but very streamlined, so he’s hard to buy for without first trying. I missed the return window, but think its product is well made and well suited for most dogs.

Mellows My Dog Out
My 9 month old Vizsla got spayed and I popped her right into this, we haven’t used the cone at all. For some reason when this is on her she calms right down and doesn’t run around and act like a goofball ( normal behavior for her). I bought a second one so I can wash the original. It isn’t super tight fitting and so it’s not pushing agains her wound and there is room for air to move around. It’s good fabric and seems to breathe just fine. It does have a lot of snaps but I get her front feet in first – praising her the whole time_ and do up the first two snaps at the neck. Then I get her back feet in and snap the last 2 snaps and then do some or all of the middle ones. She is slim and smooth coated and has slid out of it once through the night, but I don’t think she knew she wasn’t wearing it. We take it off to take a short walk or to give her a break and as soon as she puts it back on she calms right down, I’m not sure I understand it but we are 5 days out of surgery and she’s healing really well. I’m very happy I found these, dont’ get a super tight one, it’s ok to have some room inside of it.
