Lightweight and crazy soft
This blanket is remarkably soft and lightweight. My senior cat took to it instantly, and it makes a nice spot for her to sit next to me instead of on top of me while working. She even used it as a safe base when I recently had a friend visit from out of town. I’m also going to credit the blanket with bonus points of being a familiar and comforting item to put in her carrier on a recent trip to the vet. I’ve only purchased cushions for my cats in the past, so I’m shocked it took me this long to realize the benefit of a blanket for a cat.

Soft, Cuddly and Dachshund Approved!
Item as described and pictured in listing. I got the 30×40 size and it’s a perfect size for our dachshund. The blanket is very very soft and washed up well the first time. I wouldn’t take any points off for this, but I ordered the color “beige” and I feel it pulls more of a soft, muted yellow. This obviously doesn’t affect the usefulness of the blanket, but just a little something to note. Our dachshund loves to burrow under it and it still looks brand new—no tears, rips, random threads popping off, etc. I’m not exactly sure if I’d say it’s “calming,” though. It’s not weighed (it’s actually very light) or anything. It’s as calming as any other normal blanket would be if the dog finds calmness in soft, cuddly blankets. I hope that makes sense! Ha ha Overall, I would definitely recommend this to other dog owners!
