Purina Pro Plan dilemma
My three pups love this dog food – I don’t. It is 35 lbs. and a pain to move around or even get out of the human being sized box it comes in! I usually wait until someone is at our house to ask for help opening the shipping box, taking the 35 lb. floppy bag of dog food out, and pouring some of it into our dry food container that’s on wheels. I do not understand why this item does not have two things – one a HANDLE, and the other a VELCRO strip at the top to reseal the bag once it’s opened. I have to fold it every so neatly so that I can use clips to hold it closed! They have been selling salt for water softeners for the last 40 years in bags with handles. Why not this? In fact, the salt is either 40 or 80 lb. bags and they are so much easier to handle!!!!

I have 3 golden retrievers, they all love this food. I love it because they have good, solid poops with this food. Don’t laugh, with 3 big dogs you don’t want a mess. My bet recommended this food as well. I haven’t tried it to see if it tastes good.

no problem switching to Purina Pro Plan Complete Essentials
My dog likes this and did not have any tummy problems switching from Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach for puppies to Purina pro plan complete essentials for adult. his daily bowels look better too.I would drop a star since the kibbles are a tad big for my small breed, and I have to split or crush them so he would it. maybe I’ll look for complete essentials for small breed next time if available.

Dogs know what they like
We have a picky pup who is allergic to all the outside world so we were worried he would have bad reactions to food. He hasn’t! He loves the flavors and we often mix flavors together for him. He’s excited at meal time and makes sure to box at us if we miss his meal timing. The food is easy to store and has no real smell. The pricing is a bit high for some of the larger bags butt it last us quite a while so that’s ok.

Or dog is susceptible to pancreatis and requires a low fat diet. PurinaPro Plan fits the bill along with Science Diet dry food. Now if we can get her to stop eating grasshoppers…

Great quality wet food
My dogs love this wet food. I add a little of this wet food to the same brand/receipe dry dog food and they love it. Smells great and you can see the little vegetable pieces in every can. My dogs are very picky but luckily they’ve been eating this food for several months and still really enjoy it.

I’ve got a puppy mill breeder rescue who likely didn’t get regular or quality food. She loves this! I’ve tried her on lots of other types of kibble and she will often skip meals unless she gets her ProPlan. Appealing, with a variety of kibble sizes and textures. I’ve never had an issue with it smelling “off” after the bag is opened.
