Works great for gas!
I have two French bulldog/English bulldog mixes. I actually adopted them from another country. ( They were rescues from a meat market) Their diet was a raw diet, but I knew I was going to change that to kibble. I researched both breeds and found the common complaint with both was extremely smelly and frequent flatulence. And skin allergies. So, my next search was the best food to help with that issue. After reading many reviews on various kibble, I decided to choose the bulldog formula. I was familiar with Royal Canin Perscription diets, so I was comfortable that it would be a good choice for them. Bulldog breeds are known to gave gastric issues, and also expected mine to have them during the change of diets. This food kept the Diarrhea to a minimum. It’s a great quality for dog food that not only helps with digestion, but also gives them the nutrients needed for a healthy skin and coat.I feed them their portions with a little warm water added. The product is designed that if you add water to it, it will soften and create a gravy. My dogs love it. The kibble itself is shaped like an “S” which makes it easy for a bulldog to chomp down.I have never had an issue with the quality of Royal Canin food. When it isn’t available at my local Petsmart, I order it here on Amazon.While the food is pricey, I believe the benefits counter the cost. My bullies are happy and content with this food, and my nose thanks me for avoiding nuclear gas.

Pricey but well worth the cost! My dog’s coat is beautiful, he doesn’t have digestive issues, and a 30 pound bag lasts for over two-three months! No diarrhea has ever occurred with my pupster, and no stomach issues. I’m sticking with Royal Canin.

This food is great for my English Bulldog
I’ve owned dogs all my life but Murph is my first English Bulldog. When I first got him a year ago, I used the Blue brand puppy for as that is what the breeder fed his dogs. After the first few weeks I wasn’t happy. After talking to a few other bulldog owner friends, Royal Canin came in very highly recommended for both puppy and adult food. Once I switched Murph to this puppy formula I noticed an almost immediate improvement in stool consistency which was a concern for me. Once I switched him to adult formula, he continues to thrive and my vets says she has never seen a healthier good ‘bad boy”. Who knew my Murph maniac had a beautiful waistline? I would highly recommend this food as Murphy is healthy, has a beautiful coat and doesn’t seemed to be plagued with the skin issues that are common in bull dogs. A big plus is he LOVES the food and it is easy for him to pickup which leaves little to no mess around his food bowl. Now if Royal Canin can just find a way to help Murphy actually drink water instead of swimming his entire face in it then deposited it on my floors I’d be golden. Try this food. You won’t be sorry.
