IT WORKS!
The shampoo is amazing.My dog suffers from allergies and she is constantly scratching especially during this summer. After one shampoo the difference was huge! She is not scratching near as much if at all. It’s a miracle I will continue to use this product 4 ever! It also helps with the smell as well.She smells so much better

Solid itch relief
This shampoo lathers well, rinses easily, and has a mild scent. After two washes I noticed reduced scratching and less redness. It works best when left on for a few minutes before rinsing, which can be tricky with restless pets. The bottle feels a bit small for larger dogs, but overall it’s an effective choice for seasonal itching.

SOOTHING THE BUG BITES OF SUMMER
Groomer here. This is one of the best shampoos I’ve used. I was looking for something to soothe the bug bites of summer for my own Mini Schnauzers. Upon first use, it has a lovely scent, yes sort of like a watermelon jolly rancher candy. I truly love the scent, not overpowering and no your dog will not walk around with a strong candy scent long afterward. It seemed to soothe the skin nicely, and the coat is squeaky clean and came out soooo soft and fluffy after the blowdrying. I love this product and think it’s worth a try–I’ll always have some on hand.

Great for Itchy Skin — Works Fast!
I’ve been using this Chlorhexidine shampoo on my dog for seasonal itching and mild skin infections, and it’s made a big difference. Within two uses, the redness and scratching calmed down noticeably. The cucumber-melon scent is pleasant (not too strong), and it lathers well. My dog’s coat feels softer and cleaner after each bath.It’s definitely more expensive than regular shampoos, but for medicated relief, it’s worth it. Just make sure to leave it on for 5–10 minutes before rinsing to get the full effect.Highly recommended!

Instant relief for the dog
Instant relief for our dog. After her bath she slept for four hours. This shampoo got rid of her yeasty infection smell for (so far) at least 8 days. No downside, her fur looks shiny and soft and there’s no side effects that I can see. She’s scratching a lot less. Effective and good value for money.

Gave My Sweet Girl Relief When She Needed It Most
I wanted to leave this review in memory of my pit bull who recently passed. She struggled with severe skin allergies for much of her life—constant itching, licking, and chewing that would drive her (and me) crazy. We tried so many different products, but Pet Honesty Chlorhexidine Shampoo truly made a difference while she was still with me.This shampoo helped calm the irritation and redness on her skin and noticeably lessened the itching. Her hot spots and raw areas began to look better after just a couple of uses. One key tip: make sure to leave it on for a full 5 minutes before rinsing—that made a huge difference in how well it worked.It also smells clean without being too strong and left her coat soft and shiny. I’m so grateful I found this when I did. It brought her some comfort during her final months, and for that alone, it’s worth every penny.Of course, if your dog’s itching has led to an infection or more serious skin issues, a trip to the vet may still be necessary—but this shampoo is a great way to get them some relief in the meantime. It really helped soothe my girl until we could get her seen.If your dog suffers from seasonal itching or skin allergies, I truly recommend this. It brought real relief to my girl when she needed it most.

Scratching Reduced with this Shampoo!
My dog had fleas according to my groomer, even though I never saw any, but I did treat her with flea prevention. Peaches continued to scratch, a lot. I decided to do some research and found out that the key ingredient to use is Chlorhexidine; therefore, that is what I looked for. I spent a couple of hours researching and reading reviews and decided on Chlorhexidine Cat and Dog Seasonal Itch Relief Shampoo. I followed directions and lathered my little Peaches up and left it on her for 11 minutes (it is a good thing I have a sliding shower door, because she wasn’t happy). As I was rinsing her, I noticed the smell of the shampoo, it smells so nice and fresh. The shampoo is good quality shampoo and lathered up very nicely. No stickiness, and easy to use. I think the price was pretty high for a dog shampoo, but if it worked, I would be happy. It has been 5 days since I gave Peaches a bath with the shampoo and I have noticed a pretty big change in her scratching. It is not completely gone, but it has improved an enormous amount. I started out giving it 5 stars but because of the price, I made it 4 stars.

Worked well on my cat but she did not enjoy the spray. Had to spray on my fingers and than put it on her skin. She had a terrible hot spot and it got rid of it in about 5 days. I had tried other products and only this one worked

This stuff is amazing!My golden who is prone to hot spots.With all of the dogs I’ve had they never had a to deal with hot spots.This was the worst one she has ever had. This stuff cleaned it up in just two days it was noticeably drying up and by the sixth day I could take the cone of off her. Works amazingly well.You won’t be disappointed
