Easy to set up and works as advertised. Removes a lot of pet hair.
This is the third Membrane Solutions MSA3 air purifier I have purchased, not because of any problems. I just wanted another one to put in the back bedroom that the dogs sleep in. The other two do a great job and I wanted to get a jump on the hair and slight odor in the other room. The units are wells made and there are three normal speeds to chose from and a sleep mode that is very quiet with no lights on so it is hardly noticeable even when running right next to the bed. Replacement filters are fairly expensive but they remove a lot o pet hair and other debris from the air. The first filter comes in the machine sealed in a plastic bag, so don’t forget to remove the from panel and take the bag of the filter and reinstall it or the purifier will never start working. Removing the front cover is easy and it snaps back in place when properly adjusted.

Terrific purifier
This air purifier is terrific. It’s quiet, even on the high fan setting. You’ll be amazed at the amount of dust gets accumulated in the filter. Just remember to always buy the filters from Membrane Solutions. The others, even though other companies say theirs will work, don’t.

Great unit but if you have a newer android phone, don’t bother with the smart option
This machine works very well. It’s quiet and efficient. Easy to set up and move. Cleaned the air in my 80 year old house full of dust and pet hair in a matter of hours. House is smells clean and fresh. My allergies no longer constantly bother me. However, I now wish that I had just purchased the basic model rather than the smart version as their app is not compatible with newer android phones. So the money paid for features I can’t use is wasted. Considering the smart unit was 70$ more, that’s really frustrating. I could have used that money elsewhere.

This air purifier works great, I’ve definitely noticed the air feels cleaner and the filter is doing a great job. Setting adjustments are nice and work well for what we need. Allergies have improved while at home.

I got this because my brother-in-law is Coming to visit and he’s allergic to cats and we do have two cats and two dogs so there’s a lot of fur around ( I vacuum every other day though..) so I wanted to have a good air purifier for his bedroom just to make sure that the air is clean and he doesn’t have an allergy attack or anything. I just wanna make sure that he’s more comfortable and I have had previous air, purifiers and filters and everything and to be very honest this one is great for the money. It’s actually really quiet. I also live in an area where we can do burns for leaves, logs, etc. so when my neighbors or even when we’re doing burns I’ve turned this on and my house doesn’t continuously smell like outside smoke or anything weird it really does purify the air fairly quickly, which is so helpful because previous ones other brands they haven’t done that. Right now this has been in my open concept living room, dining room kitchen so it’s a very large area and it’s definitely kept the air clean which I love. I’ve had it over by my trashcan because my husband left his Tupperware in the car for way too long and I got moldy so I had them throw it out so I put this next to my trashcan to purify the air on my trashcan and you have no idea how amazing that was. Right now this has been in my open concept living room, dining room kitchen so it’s a very large area and it’s definitely kept the air clean which I love. Great customer service!
Originally gave this three stars but have now am giving it 5 stars because of their customer service. After my review was posted their customer service contacted me and offered to replace the unit. The new unit showed up within the week and is nice and quiet. It’s nice to see a seller that stands behind their products.When I first got this air purifier it worked fantastic. It removed cooking odors better than any other purifier we have ever had and removed so much more airborne dust as well. Now just 3 months out of warranty it has developed a chirping or squeaking noise coming from the fan. If I turn the fan up to high and run it at that speed for five minutes or so then set it back to auto it slows it down to the lowest fan setting and the squeaking begins again. We’re at the point where we only run it when we are at work because the sound is just to annoying to have in the background while trying to watch television. I bought a different model of the same brand for my bedroom and as of yet I have had no issues with it but I’m a bit concerned as to it’s longevity. Only time will tell if I need to replace it as well but I am really disappointed with this model.
