Great for Betta in 10 Gallon
I’ve had this plant in a 10 gallon aquarium for almost a month now and my fish is very happy with it. He seems to love swimming around the leaves, hide under them, and I’ve even caught him “sleeping” in the cup shaped leaves several times. It fits perfectly in the tank and takes up about half the space. Since I’ve only had it for a short time I can’t speak for how it will last in the long run, but if it ever degrades in a couple of years I would consider buying it again.

My betta LOVES this plant!
I’m writing this review so that other betta parents know how great it is. This particular plant has all the right levels that bettas like to hide, play, or rest. The leaves are large and slightly wavy so they can lounge comfortably for hours, moving from leaf to leaf for variety and not get bored. Also, the leafs’ edges are very soft and not pointy, so they won’t hurt your betta as they swim by. Highly recommend!

The fish certainly love it
I bought this mostly to tie together some other decor in color, as I had purple and green plants but none that were really both. As others have noted, the leaves arrived kind of squashed. They did relax and open up a bit in the warm water so there’s no creases. It’s not the most realistic looking of plants, but it’s not bad, either. I may cut off the spiky grass at the bottom, that’s the part that screams ‘plastic’. The upper leaves are fine. But whatever I think of it, the fish cannot get enough of it! The guppies hide in it, the betta hides in it, and I’ve even caught the cory cats lounging on the leaves. The leaves form a bit of a cup and the fish just love resting there. I might have to get one for my other tank and see if the mollies love it as much as they do.

Looks fake, but my betta loves it. Some sharp areas.
Overall, a good piece of aquarium decoration. The leaves are soft, but supported enough that my king betta rests on it comfortably. He enjoys it more than the real plants. Fits nicely in a 10 gallon tank.I only have 2 criticisms. I looks really fake, but that is a matter of preference. The real problem it that there are what seem to be plastic blades of grass attached to the base. These are fairly stiff and a little sharp. I could easily imagine them tearing a betta’s delicate fins. I would highly recommend tearing those off before putting this in a fish tank.I’d recommend this for any betta tank, but only if you remove that grass.

Excellent purchase!
I have a 55-gallon aquarium. This plant is just Beautiful! It is even larger than the picture can show. The color is outstanding and will add a whole new dimension to our tank. This is my first purchase from this company, and they are the best! Looks so very real.

Melting??
I’ve had this in my tank for almost two months and while it’s pretty and realistic looking, except for the grass blades at the base, something is up. I noticed what I thought was algea growing off of it but its gotten worse. If you notice in the pictures, it’s “melting upwards”. I’ve kept aquariums for over 20yrs and never seen anything like this happen. I check my water daily and there’s no trace of anything odd in the water and my betta seems happy so I guess it’s just a freak thing. Either way, I gave it 3 stars because it looks good, but not 5 because it seems the longevity won’t be good. At the current rate of disintegration, I’m guessing I’ll have to pitch it at the 6 month mark…or less.

Betta love
My Betta loves it. He doesn’t usually run right over to knew things in his home. It usual takes him a couple of weeks to start to appreciate the new invader. Within a week my guy was leaf hoping and appeared to be quit comfortable. He has a five gallon tank so I bent some of the stems to make them shorter. I would buy this again in a heart beat.I opened the lid so you could see him sitting on a leaf.

Will shred your bettas fins!!!
The top part of this plant is fine but the stems and bottom parts are sharp. It was in my bettas tank for two days it was the only thing I added new. And his tail was starting to get torn apart. I removed it the second day and returned the item. I was very disappointed. It is NOT betta safe.
