Our four rescue cats produce a lot of waste, and we felt guilty going through so many plastic bags. So we created the EcoLeo Cat Litter Waste Bags! Our cat poo bags are compostable to ASTM D6400 (US 2018) and decompose in a natural, compost environment. They are perfect sized for litter box cleaning, convenient, easy to open, thick, heavy duty and will not tear during use. Large dog owners will appreciate the roomy size and handles! Use to replace your plastic waste basket bags or in your compost bin too! Measures 15.5×18.5 inches with gussets expanded.

IMPORTANT:These are not PE plastic bags. EcoLeo bags are breathable to allow exchange of heat and moisture, necessary for bacterial decomposition. They do not block odors and are not designed to be re-used over multiple days. After use, we advise to throw it away in your regular trash, like you would a used dog poop bag. One morning, we found ourselves walking into a “high kill” animal shelter to adopt a friend for our rescue cat. Astonished by the number of cats available, we asked to see a cat that was least likely to be adopted and thus euthanized. In the back, was a tiny, dirty, awkward looking tuxedo. We were in love!! Leo blossomed into a goofy cat full of personality and we are so grateful to have found our furkid!

Leo was the inspiration to do more. As an environmental scientist and now, cat rescue volunteer, EcoLeo founder began creating environmentally safe products to raise money for the never ending rescue work. EcoLeo developed into a business shortly after thanks to support from our wonderful customers, for which we are forever grateful. Our mission is to continue to create practical cat products and donate a portion of every sale to help more animals like Leo.
