It’s so great to be able to buy a smaller bumper. Many golden retrievers are bird dogs and field trial champs and are much smaller than the typical show-style golden. The standard size bumper or dummy is too big for mine, so I was very happy to find this! Love the contrasting black and white, and most of all, that this item is made with safety in mind. For too many years have retrievers been training with bumpers made from PVC and other toxic materials. I enquired about this product’s safety levels here:Is this made with BPA free, non-toxic material?Answer: California Prop 65 covers over 800 different chemicals, and each one needs to be tested to see if trace amounts are present in levels that may cause harm. Dangerous plastic
The batch of bumper this item was extruded from is BAD plastic. Don’t let your dog have it, will come apart in your dogs mouth! Dangerous !!
This product holds the plants very well, easy to assemble. The color was as shown, and I was nervous about it being unstable holding my plants and it was very stable and nice. Great product for the price. 10/10 –

Super durable
Super durable and makes for a great chew toy. Our pup is teething hard right now. He chews on both the string and orange portion. He is even learning to retrieve when we toss it in the yard.

A very average weight dummy. Can’t let the dogs chew too much on there or they ear right through them. Problem is, I can’t find any company that makes these things as durable as what we had 15 years ago.

There are 3 labs in our family and so all of them love this training toy to run and retrieve it. I would suggest this for anyone looking to help with exercise for your dog and the product material is durable.

This is my puppy’s favourite currently, she’s really taken to it. She loves to walk with it whilst holding it in her jaws.The quality is excellent. It’s really tough and strong. It is a good weight, not too heavy but heavy enough for the dog to feel important fetching / carrying it.The material it is made from is tough, it withstand abrasion from when it is played with on hard surfaces. It won’t puncture easily, my puppy hasn’t done so far.I like that the rope is inserted into a loop, so when that inevitably is lost or chewed off etc it can be replaced easily.It’s nice and bright too.It’s perfectly buoyant.

Figured due to brand name that this would be better quality. Consider they make hunting gear and this bumper is meant for retrial training…. bought it for an upcoming trip to use in the water ( rivers dried up where i live so can’t use it in the water here) its nice abd bright, floated and you can fling it real far. And the dogs liked it, easy for them to spot too. But it fell apart after my dog and i played a couple rounds at the beach. The whole middle fell out!! Very disappointed. Not worth the money! Dogs had to bob down to find it at the bottom of the shallow waters to find it because it sank since it fell apart.
