Four paws up from both kitties!
Update: The smart functions failed on the first pump after two weeks, but the company stood behind the product and sent me a new one. So far the new one is working well. I appreciate them standing behind their product.************Living in a storm-prone area, my biggest concern about pet fountains is them not working when the power goes out, which it does a lot. This fountain has eased my mind because it has a rechargeable battery backup. It even claims it will run for up to 30 days on battery alone. My senior kitty also has kidney issues, so having plenty of clean water is critical. At the same time, he is sound sensitive. This waterer has multiple modes. What I’ve found that works for us is having the waterer cycle for 30 seconds every 15 minutes. He isn’t scared of the running water, but he really just prefers it resting in the bowl. The whole thing is well made, and while I had concerns that it would be too big, it actually takes up less space than anticipated. I also LOVE the rubber feet on the bottom. No more trapped water underneath! Oh, and the water filters as it goes from the bowl back down into the canister. This is WAY BETTER than our previous fountain that put the dirty water into the canister and then filtered it. It has all kinds of smart features, and it uses the Tuya or Smart Life platforms so you have a choice. My kitties give it four paws up each and so do I.

Worst Purchase on Amazon EVER! Does not work at all.
What can I say about this pet water fountain?It doesn’t work. If I could give it zero or negative stars, I would.It takes forever to get it to connect to your 2.4 ghz network, and once you get it connected, it may or may not stay connected. This took me over three hours of struggle before I gave up. Please note, I used to work in tech support, so I am quite familiar with tech. I have never had this much problem with something connecting, and I lived through the static, ding, ding, ding era of dial up internet.The best thing about it is that it has many, many error codes. The problem is that you will get all of them, and they are either wrong or not fixable.For example, I got a low water warning, but the fountain was absolutely full to the top.I got an error message that the pump was blocked. It’s brand new; how is it blocked? I took the filter out and put it back. Still got the error that the pump was blocked.The instructions are useless as is the website. How would I fix a blocked pump? I don’t know, and you won’t either.It never sensed that my dog was there and auto-dispensed water. It did not dispense water at any interval. It did not dispense water unless I pressed on the button for three seconds, and then it would dispense enough for my dog to have a sip. I have a job, so I can’t spend my day pressing the same button repeatedly to get it to spit out water.Before posting this review, I contacted customer service via email and chat. The email response was nothing more than ‘make sure your device it attached to the 2.4 mhz network.’ Nothing about the error codes.Forget a replacement. I would not wish this experience on anyone. It is by far the worst thing I have ever bought on Amazon, and the customer “support” from China was a joke.Do NOT buy this piece of junk.For $60-$80, I can come to your house, bring water dishes, and put water in them for your pets. For the love of your pets, buy nearly anything else. If I didn’t want a refund, I would take this out and smash it with a hammer before running it over with my car.

Pump is unreliable but customer service helped get it working
It was a fantastic way to keep water in the yard for the dogs , I’m glad I kept an extra metal bowl besides this one because the pump stopped working, got home it said obstruction.i take the pump apart and look and clean it, don’t see anything,put it back together and still get a red blinking light . I see others have had this issue with no real response or legit fix given . I guess we have a large water bowl now in addition to the others I already had as back ups. Unfortunate because the dogs really enjoyed it .Update , customer service did send me some tips that seemed to be working, cleaning the pump and spinning the little wheel at the bottom manually while the device was plugged in. I keep the bowl outside so I cleaned everything inside and plugged the pump in and the error went away. Hopefully that fixes it for good .

Broken after a few months
Worked great for a couple months and then it stopped pumping. According to the product page the pump is broken. I can’t find any way to reach out to the seller like it asks to get a new pump. Going to buy a different brand because this wasn’t reliable and we have multi pets that rely on it.

Order this about 2 months ago and I cleaned it 3 times already and now the pump has stopped working all together, not happy with that at all. Size is great and it is a great bowl when it worked my dog drank more water for sure.

Faulty electronics and does not work correctly
Pump at first work as programed and then started shutting off and would start working again for approximately for a couple hours. Now it only pumps when we push the circle, then stops after a moment.We are very unhappy and both amazon and Vasqueen have been able to resolve the problem.We do not recommend this product !
