This REALLY is perfect for large kitties!
This is perfect for large kitties! My 20lb+ chunker boy (part maine coone) has room to move around easily. Love the pull out drawer. Makes it easy dump the wet crumbled pine pellets while leaving the large litterbox in place. (Though I do wish it was a bit longer or had an easy to reach handle cause you need to make sure you push it all the way back or the litter drops through to the bottom, and when its pushed all the way back it is a bit hard to find and pinch grasp the drawer tray to pull it out) The sides are high which reduces the scattered pellets from over jealous diggers. ( or kittens who like to scatter them!) However, the plastic sides only have 2 push on “clips” at the 2 longest sides so if you try and lift the litterbox by the side attachment (which is human nature cause its easiest) the “clips” will break off. Also, the “seam” is not sealed so pee will seep through and out! I have a male cat who sprays up and out and have yet to find a one piece box with tall enough sides! Impossible in stainless steel sifting boxes! I have fixed these 2 issues by using clear , waterproof bathroom caulk to seal them together and make it one piece. The best part about this box and this seller is that the item arrives quickly and the seller stands behind their product and the description / measurements are correct! (so many others claim to be a certain size or good for large cats they are not!)

Warning! The holes on the sifter are sharp!
Looks really nice and it’s huge. But the holes of the sifter are sharp to the touch! Could easily cut your cat’s paws! So I can’t recommend this litterbox. The tray is shallow and it is narrower than the box which would make a mess inside because there are gaps between the tray and the litter box . Needs a better design and they need to fix those sharp holes!

Decent stainless tray with a few flaws
It’s been solid so far, and easier to keep odor-free than plastic boxes. As some others have said, there are a couple downsides: first, the tray doesn’t fit pee pads well. I have some puppy pads that I have to fold to fit in comfortably, and some Breeze pads that are a bit too small. Second, the tray is kind of shallow, which makes it less than ideal for pine pellets that break down and fall into the tray. Cleanup can get gross.I’ve found that Breeze pads still work fine because they’ll catch the bulk of urine, but if you take a day too long to change them out, the pee does run over into the tray. It’s still easier to clean, being stainless steel, but you need to watch out for that all the same.

Description lists zeolite, crystal & pine pellets can be used. However, the zeolite falls right through. Picture of sifting pan DIFFERENT than one pictured, so this is a different item then advertised.

Can’t find pee pads to fit
I have been using another pellet litter system with removable tray for the last two years and love the ease but since it’s all plastic, I am no longer able to clean it as well as I’d like so I chose this metal system.Although it is not as large as my other system, it was very easy to set up and the pellet litter my cats are used to works well in it.The problem is, I got this to be more hygienic and easier to clean. There are no pads on the market that fit the tray underneath. I used the pads I have been buying in bulk and even using two, the urine still runs underneath and is a complete mess to clean up and smells worse than before. I read other people buy huge pads and cut them in half. Why don’t they make pads to fit?The image online appeared to have something in the tray but it doesn’t come with pee pads and the instructions never address it.

Wow. The best so far from others that I bought. Got 4 big cats and adopted 2 babies, so buying a 2nd. I do recommend this product. Very easy to clean and less waste of pellets, no liners or extra stuff to use. Thank you for thinking of this.
