Finally a āmedicineā that the dog will take! The dog actually thinks itās a treat and will take it willingly. That alone makes it worth the price. So far it seems to be effective as Iāve already noticed less scratching after being outside. Great value for the price.

Iāve never tried anything like these for prevention- but my dog is a senior and I prefer something gentler than the normal medicine she takes orally. First, the amount and size of the chews in the jar is excellent for the price! 500 will last us quite a while. My picky pup ate them right up, and we havenāt noticed any side effects at all! I canāt speak on how effective they are, because itās winter currently- but theyāre easy to use and taste great for her. Im hoping they do help as I would feel better giving her these than strong medicine in her older age.

These are a huge hit in our household. Even our cat likes them. Our picky senior grandpa dog who is 16 readily accepted them without hesitation. Our incredibly food-driven 11-year-old pup, who will eat pretty much anything, was very suspicious of them at first, but once he saw that his big brother approved of them, he was happily on board. Even our cat thinks they are tasty and comes running when the dogs are receiving their treats. I am hugely impressed by the ingredients list. I am, probably by far, one of the pickiest pet parents on the planet. We are predominantly a holistic/homeopathic based household and our dogs eat only homemade food made by me. I scrutinize every ingredient in every single treat, supplement, shampoo, vitamin, tincture, salve, medication, etc. that they might receive. The majority of pet products are quickly ruled out due to one or more ingredients of which I disapprove. These Woyamay treats do not contain a single ingredient that puts them on the disqualified list, in my non-professional but long-time researched opinion.I must note, I ordered these for the nutritional benefits and not for flea & tick prevention as we do not have an issue with those pests.- The main effective ingredient is brewers yeast which is fantastic for skin and coat health, and the high content of B vitamins is what helps to deter fleas and ticks, as I suspect that those little insect vermin are turned off either by the smell of the skin or the taste of the blood once it gets in the system. There are so many other great ingredients in these treats that offer additional benefits to your pets other than just flea and tick prevention.- Pumpkin is fantastic for digestive health and to firm up jelly-like loose stools;- Cranberry is great for proper urinary function and kidney support;- Egg yolks are full of protein and vitamins that are essential for brain health and proper nerve function;- Yucca is FANTASTIC for inflammation and for combating arthritis;- Krill and deep sea fish oil offer omega-3 and -6 support;- Beef tallow is an amazing non-inflammatory fat source that is full of vitamins and will support healthy skin and coat;- Bee pollen is great for a wide variety of things; it is full of proteins, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants (it is actually considered a superfood), will offer allergy support, and has anti-inflammatory and immune boosting properties;- Bovine colostrum is wonderful for a healthy gut, a strong immune system, beautiful skin and coat, and can support strong muscle development;- Flaxseed oil is one of the best sources of lignans, which are natural plant compounds that aid in metabolic health by fighting oxidative stress, and help fight against cancer;- The rosemary extract listed at the end of the inactive ingredients is used as a natural preservative, along with the Dl-Alpha-Tocopherol (vitamin E) which is useful to protect the other fats and oils in the formulation from going rancid.Every ingredient on both the active and inactive list has really good benefits about which I am pretty pleased. The ONLY criticism I have is the very last ingredient on the inactive list which states it as chicken “flavor.” I do not like the vagueness of that term, as “flavor” can mean just about anything (generally chemically derived.) However, since it is the very last ingredient I am hoping that it is a miniscule amount in comparison to everything else in the formulation. In this case I think the benefits of the bulk ingredients outweigh the potential risk of “chicken flavor,” although I would have preferred that it at least state that it is NATURAL chicken flavor.Overall, these chews (they aren’t really “chews” but more like crunchy treats) get rave reviews from everyone who has tried them (I haven’t had one yet but I will trust their judgement.) They do not smell badly (the scent is mild chicken that is not offensive in any way.) Even the container is really cool and schnazzy looking with its holographic rainbow design. Rated five tail wags and two paws up!
