Took the fuss out of flea season—finally a collar that works for our indoor/outdoor cat
I purchased the 4-pack of the TriOak flea & tick collars (32-month total coverage) for our cat who spends part of his time outside, and overall we’re very pleased with how this has worked so far. Here’s what stood out:✅ What we like:Long-term coverage value: With four collars in the pack and a claim of ~8 months per collar (hence ~32 months total), it feels like a strong value compared to swapping treatments every month.Ease of use: Putting the collar on was quick—adjusted the recommended two-finger fit under the cat’s neck, trimmed the excess, and it felt secure.Effective in reducing fleas: Within a couple of weeks we noticed fewer flea sightings, fewer scratch/itch episodes, and our cat seemed more comfortable. These collars do not work.
These flea collars did not work for our cats. We have 2 cats who are indoor only and 2 that are 90% outdoors, who occasionally come inside for snacks & snuggles. I placed a collar on each cat, per the package’s instructions, on the same day, after giving them all an oral flea treatment, and two weeks later, all of our cats had fleas. Our cats did not have fleas, we were doing all this for prevention due to the temperatures rising in our area and there being an advisory to treat all pets for fleas due to an increase of the flea population. After we noticed our 2nd oldest cat with a bald spot on his back, we knew something was wrong. And a trip to the vet, for all 4 cats, confirmed that they all had fleas! Now we have nearly a $1000 vet bill & are out another $200 to treat the house & the yard.I have included a picture of the product box and our big boy, Hondo, to show him at the vet last week and the bald spot from his reaction to being bitten by fleas that were brought into the house by the outside cats who were also both wearing these flea collars!

Keeping the itching away
I love the fact that you can make them adjustable. They were very good quality for the amount of money that I spent. They worked really good on providing fleas. My cats did not have any kind of side effects skin irritations or anything from these collars. They’re very easy to adjust to the correct size..

Flea issue
My cat had a HUGE flea issue from the day I got her as a kitten. I would have to give her baths almost every other day because of it. I felt so bad for my poor kitty with how riddled she was in these critters that shouldn’t exist. Thankfully I bought these collars and in the past month or so I’ve only seen maybe 2 or 3 fleas on her now. And she does not absolutely despise the collar I’m sure she barely even notices it. They’re super easy to put on, priced well and do last as long as advertised surprisingly. I highly recommend this product to anyone having a flea problem. My cats skin is not bothered at all as well like I was worried it would be. Definitely a functional collar, and it has locks on the tightness so it will keep the cat safe from strangling, sorta like a zip tie. My cat is healthier than ever and I’m super happy about it!

It didn’t work for my babies
The smell is so overwhelming. My orange baby has been on and off sleeping since I put it on him. He wakes up, moves a little bit and you can see how uncomfortable the smell makes him because he can’t even open his eyes wide, like if he were smelling onions. The oldest one is the same. The Siamese just goes with the flow, but she’s not the happy kitten she is. It really was a waste of money. Will try something less smelly and less toxic. 😕 Other thing is, fleas are like nothing.
