Absolutely adorable
These are a huge hit at our house. One of our chickens now goes to the bus on a leash every morning. The harness is not adjustable around the neck so itās tricky to fit securely to some of the chickens. You really need a bigger chicken for this. Our silkies swim in the harness and can easily get caught up. The bigger chickens do fine.

Make sure these fit your animal. My chicken was too small. However, the cat fit perfectly.

Our hens are not very big and these were nowhere close to fitting even the smallest of them. (They are about 5 months old, breeds are Black Australorp, Isa Brown, and Sapphire Gem). But the harnesses are decent quality, well constructed, and we knew we could adjust the size ourselves by sewing extensions onto the straps.

They appear to fit well and once my hen got used to the harness she began walking around, it took about a day keeping the harness on.

way too small
I have no idea how people are getting these to fit. Mine is labeled “M” maybe they send out random sizes and I got an extra small one, I don’t know. These wouldn’t fit even my smallest chickens, and they look like they wouldn’t fit a gerbil.

Chicken kept slipping out
This might work on bigger chickens but mine kept slipping out of it and getting halfway stuck. I tightened it as much as I was able to.

Chicken harnesses
The package came on time and I put them on 2 of my chicken’s and headed to the park. They were a little big but has enough room for growth. They sis the electric slide all the way back to the car. The girls have to get use to the new harnesses, but I am pleased with this product.
