Limited Purpose Baby or Pet Monitor Paid Subscription To Access All Features
This is a review of the Blessfly 4MP indoor cameras for home security. The camera can operate on 2.4/5G WiFi with Iphone, Ipad or Android APP. Has auto tracking, human motion detection, night vision, two-way audio and works with Alexa & Google home.The camera can take up to a 128 GB storage card or subscribe to their cloud service to store recorded images.The manufacturer has an App that must be downloaded onto your telephone to access the camera and all the features will require a subscription. The App is full of advertising that is distracting. The shell of the camera is made of thin plastic and can break easily if dropped.Will work fine as a baby or pet monitor but not for security purposes.Overall only for limited purposes of baby or pet monitoring will work.

Do you want to wait thru a couple rounds of candy crush ads and endless redirects to spamware sites to find out if your baby is choking, or someone has broken into your house??It would be an Ok Cam for the $9 I paid for it …HOWEVER, the mandatory software is incredibly bad. Potentially dangerously bad. The Camera WILL NOT WORK without a PAID subscription to the sketchy chinese software, which is riddled with spamware pop-up ads and in software upcharges. Even after an alert, it makes you sit thru pop-ups before it will allow you to access the cam – a security nightmare. I would never trust this device for security, let alone expose my credit info and IP to a software this obviously shifty. Immediate return.

Great Little Security Camera – Just Not for Me!
I had high hopes for this little security camera, but it just wasn’t suitable for my needs. It comes with all of these great features: 4MP Pan Tilt, Wireless WiFi, and super HD resolution (1440P). It even streams live footage to your phone and sends you alerts, plus it works with both 2.4G and 5G WiFi and has a night-vision feature. It’s also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant and has a two-way audio chat feature. I had intended to replace the one I currently have that requires a subscription fee, but after figuring this one out, I found it also necessitates a subscription in order to use all its capabilities. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a match for my needs, but it might perfect for someone else who doesn’t already have a security camera setup in their home or business.

Not Real User-Friendly, Filled With Ads
The set-up started fairly well but didn’t end so gracefully. The instructions are lacking details, and there was some confusion when a screen came up during the install that wasn’t in the documentation, which took some time to figure out. It also couldn’t detect one of the initial connection methods.After spending considerable time getting through the setup, much to my disappointment, there’s very little you can do with it unless you subscribe to one of their cloud/service plans … and in my opinion, they are pricey. But even more irritating is the constant and relentless push to get you to sign up for their plans. The app is filled with ads (including pop-up ads which you have to wait for the ‘timer’ to wind down in order to even advance to the next screen), which makes it difficult to navigate. In the end, you can ONLY see a snapshot of an event, no videos – unless you get a cloud package. It does take an SD memory card, but I even had difficulty finding out the specs on the SD card. Somewhere I believe I read the max was 128MB, which isn’t much, so it seems it’s another push to subscribe to a cloud package. Considering I’m not thrilled with the operation and everything overall, it wasn’t worth spending additional money and time for something I most likely won’t use.The camera picture quality is okay, but the colors aren’t as vivid as what’s advertised. Black and white, pretty clear. The “auto follow” feature didn’t work the greatest. Also troubling was that even after turning the camera OFF in the app, the red LED lights surrounding the lens (I’m assuming either for night vision or motion sensing – irrelevant at this point), stayed lit. That indicated to me the camera was still operating. The power connection is also a micro-USB which is old technology.The price is relatively cheap, but there’s also little value if you can only snap a picture at a moment’s time. Neither the app, camera, nor instructions were that intuitive. Not sure I would have much ‘peace of mind’ right out of the box, and without having to spend additional money.

Great camera highly recommend
We just had a litter of puppies and knew we’d be needing this soon when they transitioned into their own room! Great price and was extremely easy to set up! The video quality is good and so is the voice quality ! Connectivity wasn’t an issue and hanging was easy ! The controls on the app make it that much more easier and controlling the directionality was super simple and works really well ! For the price I am extremely pleased and will be ordering more for different area of the house !!

4MP Indoor Security Camera with Motion Detection
I’m reviewing the 4MP Indoor Cameras for Home Security, 2.4/5G WiFi Baby/Dog Monitor with Phone APP, Auto Tracking, Human Motion Detection. I use an iPhone and the Camera App downloaded easily, pairing took a couple of tries and then it was able to bind with my phone. To be honest, I wasn’t really liking it that much at first, but while I was away on a trip, I was very happy with the remote instructions I gave it, it was able to turn 359 degrees, I could adjust to High Definition or Automatic mode, I could unlock the speaker and microphone and had a clear surveillance of my home. There is a weird part on this App (not sure if it’s my phone or not), the control button to move the camera is only available on Landscape mode, on Portrait mode I didn’t see any controls on the screen (not a deal breaker). Lastly, this camera’s tracking is very good, the detection mechanism is sensitive and it sends me the phone alert of any movement it detected. It’s now one of my favorite security cameras. Great value for the price. I recommend this.
