I am very pleased with the scissor grooming kit. The case is very nice and has pouches and elastic to hold the scissor in place.They seem sharp and cut well. I am going to Only use them for grooming, so as to not dull or damage them. There are 3 scissors in the kit, 1 curved pair, I straight pair and 1 thinning shears to give that thinned, irregular edge so it doesn’t look like a straight cut. All the scissors have the tangs on the finger rings for better control AND a little silicone bumper that keeps them from clicking together with each snip. I would consider these a traditional right handed set. The kit also comes with a metal come and a little round piece that I cannot figure out the use for. It reminds me of a keychain piece that a golfer would use to fix divot marks on a green. Perhaps a professional groomer vs. a DIY person would know exactly what it is for.Overall, very happy with the set and I think the price point is great for all that you are getting.

This grooming kit comes neatly contained in a sturdy, zippered case. The set contains – 1 pair of Straight Grooming Scissors 1 pair of Dog Thinning Shears, and , 1 pair of Curved Dog Grooming Shears. All are sharp and sturdy and ready for use. The scissors/shears have screws on the side that can be adjusted for tightness by using the flat disc tool, also provided. There is a comb that is wide tooth at one end and nap or tooth at the other. To ensure proper storage, there is a small cleaning cloth to wipe the hairs and oils for hand off of the finish.The inclusion of the tighten tool, comb and cloth show the thought that was put onto providing a complete product. Note that these scissors conform to right handed users..It is a nice affordable set for those what need to groom their pooches. Would also be a great gift for pet parents you might know.!Overall…. 2 paws and 3 tail wags!

Amazing! Game changer for at home grooming.
We have a long haired cat who often get matted fur, even with daily brushing… He’s a sweet bit but just… Huge. This absolutely changed the game for us! I love all of the different types of grooming supplies but came with, different scissors for different things. Some are better for this cat, some are better for a quick trim of my Chorkie-dog’s face/beard/bangs (curved scissors). Some are great to thin out Giant Cat’s coat. Not to mention the scissors themselves cut beautifully, they’re sharp so you don’t have to go over the same spot multiple times like with regular scissors. They’re beautiful to look at. And the carrying case it comes with is extremely convenient, now I won’t misplace a single pair! They’re very easy to use, well made.

Compact and quality
This grooming set looks nice, but more importantly, everything works as it should.- The scissors are sharp and tight, providing solid control when trimming up a somewhat squirmie dog.- The comb has wide tooth on one side, regular on the other and is super easy to clean.- The case zipper doesn’t get stuck, and holds everything tidy and compact.- Bonus cleaning cloth that has already been handy outside.It did come with a metal ‘disk’ with a flat edge and some points (under the comb in the pic). I have no idea what that is for (clearing something in the sheers? adjusting the tightness of the scissors?) – no clue, and it’s not mentioned in the description. Someday I’ll figure that out.Until then, 2 pawdicures have been completed with ease and this set is well worth the $27 price.
