Helps keep the litter box ffre$$hhh
This stuff is kind of pricey but definitely helps keep the smell of my kitty’s litter box under control. I used to get litter that had activated charcoal already in it but I can no longer find it. I was using regular litter and noticed the difference immediately. I just sprinkle some on top and mix it in when I put new litter in. I completely empty and clean her box 1x week in the summer and 1x every 2 weeks in the cooler months and of course scoop her presents out periodically in between. When I scoop I usually add some kitty litter on top and a bit of the charcoal too and she does her business it gets mixed in that way I’m not mixing up older stuff with it. Works like a charm! You could also use it other places that have odors like a little sachet at the bottom of your trash can or in your shoes, a bathroom that doesn’t have good ventilation I have charcoal inserts for my shoes and it says you can leave them in the sun and uv rays helps the smells and bacteria clear out and can reuse them so if you make little sachets you could try to reuse them after the sun for places other than the litter box too!

IT WORKS ON PET ODORS
I’M TRYING TO ELIMINATE THE HORRIBLE SMELL OF NUMEROUS “ACCIDENTS” FROM PET-SITTING MULTIPLE CATS AND DOGS IN MY HOME. ITS UNBEARABLE. I HAVE TRIED SCRUBING WITH EVERYTHING. THE SMELL REMAINS.HOWEVER, AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT FOR A WEEK BOTH IN THE LITTER PAN AND LITTLE CONTAINERS OF THE ACTIVATED COAL IN CORNERS OF ALL ROOMS, THE SMELL IS 90% GONE!

I add this to my cats unscented litter, it helps immensely with odor control. I just wish it were a bit cheaper. Can’t complain though, it lasts me 6-8 weeks on average. I add about 3/4 cup per litter change.

I’ve tried several of this type of product. Can get pricey but my cats’ box has to be in my bedroom and though it is cleaned daily, it can have quite an odor. So far, this product is the most economical and best functioning of all I have tried, even more than Arm&Hammer. You just need a little. It helps.
