Protect your carpet from flea and tick infestations. ADAMS Carpet Powder works hard to kill fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, and ticks on carpets, rugs, and furniture where fleas may hide. This flea carpet treatment contains an Insect Growth regulator (IGR), Pyriproxyfen, and the botanically-derived insecticide Linalool that kills all four stages of the flea life cycle: adults, eggs, larvae, and pupae. One 16 oz container can treat up to 400 square feet of a room, and you do not need to replace or reuse it for one full year. It kills fleas and ticks on contact. The flea-killing carpet powder prevents re-infestation and controls the area for up to 365 days. Our carpet treatment deodorizes and freshens the home with a pleasant citrus fragrance while eliminating deep-down pet odors. To use, simply shake up the canister and evenly distribute across the carpet or fabrics, and let it settle; for maximum efficacy, delay vacuuming for 24 hours. With 5% of fleas living on your pet and the remaining 95% living in your home or yard, ADAMS products are designed to provide you with the power to prevent pests on every front.

Customers say
Customers find the flea powder effective at keeping fleas away and appreciate its ease of use. The product receives positive feedback for its quality, though opinions about its smell are mixed, with some finding it pleasant while others note its strong scent. While some customers report successful flea control and consider it worth the money, others mention it doesn’t eliminate fleas and consider it a waste of money. Moreover, the powder creates dust clouds that clog vacuum cleaners, and there are concerns about pet safety, with some customers noting it’s dangerous for cats.

Life saver!
This powder is amazing!Pros: Absolutely worksCons: Alot but worth it.1. The scent is OVERPOWERING! Be careful and use like 2 surgical mask and gloves when applying anywhere. I would recommend using before bedtime. Close all room doors where you havenāt used the powder and turn on a fan and go to bed then do the rooms when you go to work or something. The smell will shimmer down after like a day. And your house will smell great after a couple of days.2. Pets gotta go. This can kill them and YOU! If handled improperly. Have someone baby sit them or something till you throughly vacuum and wipe down and treat them as well! Do a flea bath and collars or else theyāre just gonna Re infest the place, fleas love your pet the most.3. You gotta get like 10 of these if you have a house and like 5 if you have an apartment AINT ENOUGH POWDER IN THOSE CANS! lol the powder is just half the can. shake well before.4. May destroy your vacuum. It didnāt destroy mine but it is coated with powder throughout the vacuum.5. May need to do two rounds of this a week apart and let sit for atleast 24 hrs because the first hit wonāt kill them all at once and coat floor or carpet well and light pat in with broom NOT BRUSH Because powder will float everywhere. Put in all cracks and corners.Tip: get flea traps so when they try to escape elsewhere theyāll get lured to the trap and the light, I caught over 50 so double whammy. Not one flea has crawled on me since.

Seems to have done the job! I will purchase again
We have tried just about everything you can think of to rid ourselves of these monsters. I even have ended up doing flea baths for my 2 dogs once a week in order to try to control the fleas. They just seem bad this year. I decided to at last try this powder out. Our 2 dogs spend most of their time in our finished basement where there is rug so this is where most of the fleas have been. I decided to try out the powder and nuke the floor with it. This was 3 weeks ago. I first did a really good vacuum of the floor and then sprinkled this stuff all over till it was gone. It was not pretty as there was white powder everywhere but I figured a good dose of this should do the trick. I then left the powder for 2 weeks and did not vacuum at all. I can honestly say that it did make a difference. I don’t have fleas jumping on my feet when I walk down there now which is a good thing. Also, it did not harm our dogs at all and they completely ignored the powder. I still have not vacuumed the floor down there only because I am scared to remove the powder š I think I will this week to see if they return. All in all, this stuff seems to have worked for the most part. I did notice that I have a few fleas in other areas of the house now. I think some of them just moved from the basement. I would say this stuff is effective if you leave it down and let it do its job. Appears to be pet safe as I said it did not bother my dogs at all. Also, there was no bad smell or anything like that from the powder. I will mostly likely purchase again as a preventative to keep the fleas away. As long as you can deal with looking at the white powder on your floor for a bit, it should do the job.

Strong smell but works well
Very strong smell but works pretty good. Let it stay for a bit in the carpet before vacuuming. Keep kids and pets and anyone else away until you vacuum though.

I will buy again
Was very effective. The powder had no harsh smells. Took care of the fleas overnight.

Unsure about accuracy
I vaccumed fleas up and added the powder to my vaccume to test the product. It claims to start killing within 5 minutes. Ive done this test with a few powder products now. After 10 mins, and visually seeing the powder on the pests, the fleas were still hopping around inside. On a smaller scale. I put about a teaspoon of powder into a small container with two fleas. And shook it up to completely cake the bugs. And they did eventually die. But that means i need to apply a thicker coating. I have tested natural care aerosol several times now. And every time the fleas have been dead withing a few seconds. Unfortunately, the spray eventually dries and is no longer effective.

Adams Spray or Powder Flea & Tick Works Either Way
I really like the SPRAY brand of Adams Flea & Tick, but consumer safety laws prevent its shipment. So glad to see Adams also offers a POWDER. Read directions several times before applying it to my carpet. So far, so good! NO flea bites. And I have plenty left for the future. So glad that Amazon offers this option.

Fantastic stuff. Wish I could find it local.
Best flea powder for carpet on the market in my opinion. I use with a combo of diatamaceous earth and leave sitting minimum 3 days. Sometimes it’s been left as long as a week. No harm there, it’ll keep killing new ones. But I had a room in my apartment so infested it had to be sealed off during treatment. Within days it went from not being able to walk in the room without having fleas jump on and bite me all over the ankles and calves to walking into a normal, healthy room ( I’m between jobs but this was my home office while in use). You’ll need to vacuum a few times to get nice and thorough, especially if you use the same combination I did.We noticed once that room was treated and the pets were as well ( love cheristin) the rest of the apartment gradually became pest free as they died off without a food source. I still treated other areas, but it seems this powder working so fast was really like an EpiPen for the infestation.Recommended to treat continuously of course. I just want to attest to how much easier this made cleaning up the rest and how fast it worked for one that basically took over overnight. Haven’t had to completely stop life to control fleas in 12 years or more. Serious pain in the a$$ and this stuff helps you avoid it.P.S. I have a Roomba and it worked fine getting this alone up (without the diatamaceous earth powder). I’d run the auto vacuum twice. Two full cycles. Like shut the door or put up a barrier at the doorway of the carpeted room you’ve treated if you can and just let it run until the battery runs out, so several laps around the room each time.
