Satisfied. Did the job.
These are nicely made. I bought two. They are stiff when they arrive, and prevent the cat from bending them or scratching her sutures from Aural (Ear) Hematoma surgery, however, they soften up around the petals with wear and the petals bend back when the cat lies down. They did what I needed them to do – prevent scratching – but they did not prevent the cat from shaking her head repeatedly.

Depends on the cat
Its a good option for the right kind of cat. I got both kitties snipped and the brother kept his on with no problem but the sister managed to escape, I had to use a surgery onesie on her. If you have a fighter then this might not be for you. 7/10

Cute and effective if you reinforce the closure
Super cute, and long enough to protect our cat’s face (he was scratching a patch raw). We ended up using duct tape to keep it from opening and coming off. And after a week it was pretty shredded and dirty. But I’d buy it again.

The best cones out there!
Iāve bought soooo many cones over the years and these are by far my favorite. Theyāre SUPER light weight and comfy for my kitties. My senior cat usually gets super lethargic from being weighed down. That isnāt the case with these. Theyāre also very versatile (because theyāre felt, you can trim it down, which I wouldāve loved to be able to do for a surgery he had in the past). The only downside I can potentially see is I donāt think theyāre going to be quite as durable and Iām not sure how well theyāll hold up after a wash. Itās not a big deal though. Itās definitely worth just buying again when the need arises. The small size fits both my 10lb senior cat and my 4 month old kitten.

Horrible smell
These collars smell horrible. They didnāt air out after a day and just smelled up the house. Itās not even a chemical smell, it smells like feces.

10 STARS! Best option we found!
These collars are the perfect size for our 9.5 cat. He was neutered and the hard collar the vet provided still allowed him access to his surgical site. This foam collar is comfortable and also long enough to prevent him from licking his incision. They are so easy to clean, donāt fall apart when he scratches, and they come with two in the package so I can swap them out if he gets one too wet in his water fountain. We ordered several other options and these were the cheapest, easiest for us to put on and take off, most comfortable for our cat and BY FAR the best.

Made out of simple craft foam so I wouldn’t say they are durable, and don’t expect them to last long. However, I’m not needing these long term, just long enough for my baby goats to get a little bigger so they stop sneaking out. Super cute though!

These were great, however I needed to stop my cat from itching his eye, and unfortunatley they were not long enough to do that, I can see how they would serve a purpose for other areas of the cats body, but not for what I needed. arrived in no time though.

These worked for a while, but eventually lacked stiffness and Linus was able to get to his injured face. Mind you, this took over a week, so they are good for short periods. And they are amusing.
