Saved my daughter’s roo
I have a house chicken. His siblings died and he was raised inside all winter with just people for company, my 5 year old grew especially attached. He out grew the brooder so I decided to integrate him into the flock. It didn’t go well. He was immediately bullied by my hens even after slow integration. They almost killed him. We brought him inside and he was pooping everywhere and I just can’t handle that. I thought I’d have to break my daughter’s heart and re-home him. We tried other diapers and he always figured out how to get them off. I was losing hope. Then I stumbled across these. I was hesitant at first because reviews weren’t the greatest but I broke down and bought them with desperate hope that this might answer my prayers.Let me tell you, this was a fantastic buy. I bought a medium and a large because I wasn’t sure what size he needed. A large works best but the medium fits as well, just a bit more snug. He absolutely hates it but I’m not shocked, he hates anything that isn’t him getting his way. It’s been a week now and he can’t figure out how to get it off, so it’s a win for me.He doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable, just annoyed. The diaper is lined with plastic so nothing leaks through, I don’t even use the pad inserts anymore, I found them to be messy. I just take the diapers off, dump it in the toilet, rinse it off, and let it dry. The bonus of buying two is now I have two diapers and I just rotate them.Now my daughter gets to keep her spoiled house rooster. The most useless rooster I’ve ever met, seriously not an ounce of rooster in this guy basically just an, overly pretty, scardy cat, but we love him.Pretty sure he’s plotting my demise for this but oh well.Bonus for the bow as it’s pretty adorable.

Not for pullets – adults only or it’ll be loose!
Great design but do beware – this is not suitable for pullets and is ideal for adult chickens! If you put a smaller chicken in this harness there will be a bit of potential slippage which wouldn’t be ideal if your chicken is an escape artist. There is adjustability but when the harness arrives it’s on the smallest setting and only goes up so there room for growth. The harness is easy to wash and looks somewhat comfortable once the chickens get used to it. Very easy to put on the little ones and can survive being aggressively pecked at 😂

Best chicken diaper ever!
These are just the best chicken diapers! Our little bantam rooster lives indoors and has free rein of the house all the time. We purchased two of these in the past, but he was really in need of new ones. I have been watching for the ones with the poo pouch, but the poo pouch has not been shown in the pictures. Since this is the same brand as the previous ones we purchased, and I could see the zipper when I zoomed in, I took the chance to purchase more.We just received them today and were ecstatic to see that they did still include the poo pouch. Though the small is still too big for our little guy we have found a way to modify it with binder clips to where it fits ok for him. He appreciates the fact that he can still fly when he is wearing it. With the new ones, we are going to sew some tucks in them so they are the correct size for him before they get used. Since he wears his diaper harness full-time, we buy pantiliners to line the pocket with. That way we just unhook and unzip it the pouch, and put a second pouch on without having to take the entire harness off each time.

Was sent a return or package that had been gone through
The package came with the box ripped open, everything out of the plastic with the plastic shoved back in the box, and missing the pads except for the back part that goes over the adhesive side. The harness, leash, and poop bag were all still there but it was obviously gone through or a return that was sent out again.

The size is off. I got a size small, reviews say that it is tiny. The one we got is actually huge. Won’t fit our bantam rooster at all.

Perfect harness/diaper combo for my house rooster!
I’ve purchased a total of 5 of these harness diapers for my silkie rooster, and they are perfection. I ordered size Small, and as long as you put the harness on the correct way, the diaper fits with no leaks, it’s comfortable for my roo to wear, and I can attach a leash and he is unable to get out of the harness. MAKE SURE to slip the front over the neck, and then run both back straps underneath and then between the birds back legs and then through the loop on the top and attach the buckle for proper fit. There are instructions that come with the product that explains how to put it on properly, with photos so just pay attention to the diagram. It doesn’t go under the belly like it would on a dog or cat. Run it behind the legs then through the loop. I hope this seller NEVER stops selling the harness with the zip on diaper attachment.

Super cute. My duck hates it lol only comes with 1 pad/disposable diaper. The inside of the bag that goes around the butt is water proof and very easy to clean.

This was so small. My Bantam wouldn’t even fit this harness. She’s super tiny. This might be suitable for a crow.

Die Lieferung kam nach ca. zwei Wochen ohne Mehrkosten (Zoll) an.Ob ein derartiges Geschirr wirklich gebraucht wird, hinterfrage ich hier nicht. Der Nachwuchs musste es haben. Ein geübtes Kind ab ca. 12 Jahren kann es seinem Federvieh auch anlegen. Qualität + Verarbeitung sind gut und für die Verwendung geeignet. Die Ansteck-Schleifchen gibts in verschiedenen Farben und lassen sich auch andernorts nutzen. Die Klips lassen sich einfach öffnen und schließen. Ob der Gockel sich aber am Ende wirklich mitläuft, hängt vom Vogel ab. Unserer wollte nicht.Fazit: Wenn noch ein kleiner Hund da ist, lohnt die Anschaffung des Geschirrs auf jeden Fall.
