Super Value, Works Like a Charm
With three dogs, there’s no escaping dander, not to mention the dust brought in from their frequent trips outside. The LumiAir Mini was fairly priced, the right size, and sounded promising. I decided to give it a try it and I’m glad I did.From the moment I unboxed it, it impressed me. The sleek, modern design looked high tech, and even though it was lightweight, it felt solid and durable. Included were easy to understand directions and a long power cord for flexible placement.The control panel on top contains four icons for power, speed, light, and a filter reminder. There are three speeds: low/sleep, medium and high and the power button doubles for handy extras like a child lock and timer. As bonus feature, it has a soothing, blue, ambient nightlight, easily turned on and off with a tap.I connected the power supply, read the directions and turned it on. I could feel air moving and each mode responded flawlessly. In sleep mode, the fan was so quiet, I had to almost put my ear against the unit to hear it.I wasn’t sure how large an area it could cover so I tried it in the kitchen first where I had just chopped some onions. I was amazed to find the smell completely gone within 15 minutes. In the much larger, main living area, the odor evaporated just as quickly. It left no doubt that this machine is highly efficient and produces noticeably fresher air, quickly and efficiently .I love breathing the clean air from my purifier so much, I even put it by my bed at night. I never knew I needed an air filter until I had one and now, I’m so glad I do. The LumiAir Mini is versatile, effective, and easy to use. Five stars.

Good machine but where are the replacement filters?
First impressions: The air purifier was nicely packaged. It’s a plastic body but feels reasonably sturdy and easy to clean. The box includes a 24AWG USB-C to USB-A cable and a fairly useless manual. Note the manual mentions using essential oils but there is no slot to drop them in. There is no power adapter “brick” included. Not too big of a deal since the back of the machine indicates that this machines takes in 5V. Most modern phone power adapters should work.I used the square Apple 5W adapter with no issue. The machine is quiet at the low fan setting. However, it is noticeable on the high fan setting. It’s sounds like white noise background so I don’t mind. The controls at the top are touch sensitive. They make an audible beep whenever you touch them. I was very pleased with the results after running this purifier for 5 hours. The wildfire smoke was present outside but not in my small home office.My biggest issue? I could not find replacement filters. I searched the seller’s Amazon store and could only find filters for other brands/models. I did a quick search on Amazon and could not find a filter of this same size (~3.4cm tall and 8.5cm diameter) . This machine is useless if you can’t get replacement filters?

I am worried about finding a replacement filter, when that times comes. Other then that, it’s really so nice. It fits on my bookshelf. Seems to work very good. Air seems cleaner. Oh, and it is very quiet.

Okay for Desktop Use but There Are Quieter Options
So I have several air purifiers and I’m pretty particular about them. This air purifier is good for desk only use. I wouldn’t use it for anything but that. The size is very small so you’re not going to move a lot of air that’s why I’d say it should be limited to desk use. The purifier is easy to set up. There’s nothing complicated. It includes a power cable but no plug. You can use the brick plug from your phone. The filter on this is tiny. It’s so small I wonder how effective it will be over time.Where this falls short is the fan noise. The one I received is not that quiet compared to other similarly priced air purifiers. Mine has a buzzy mechanical sound coming from the fan. It works fine but it reminds me of when a fan would go bad on a computer case. Compared to an inexpensive Levoit air purifier this one is considerably louder on the lowest settings.On its own this air purifier is fine, but it falls a little short of others I own. This will get used on my desk only. I don’t think this is bad, but it could certainly be a little better.

Noticeable Difference — No More Morning Sneezing!
I’ve been using this mini air purifier for a week, and I can already see a big improvement. It has definitely cut down on the dust in the air. I used to wake up every morning sneezing, and now that’s completely gone. It runs quietly, which is perfect for my bedroom, and the soft LED night light is a nice extra touch.The compact size makes it easy to place on a nightstand or desk, and the USB power option is convenient. For such a small purifier, it does an impressive job reducing dust, odors, and allergens.

For small rooms
It doesn’t come with the USB power pack plug which is annoying. Make sure its a 5v. The first power pack i used wasn’t strong enough to keep it running. It has to be 5v. It works well in a small room. Pretty quiet. I hope the replacement filters are easy to find. It doesn’t come with any. Don’t forget to take the plastic off the filter. It comes installed but there is plastic that has to be removed.
