Allergen Wash is a super surfactant concentrated laundry detergent that works in cold, warm, and hot temperatures. It is a complete detergent that launders fabrics while washing away allergens such as dust and mite waste matter, pollen and pet dander.
Washing at lower temperatures prolongs the life of linens
The proper temperature for washing sheets, blankets and comforters is critical to the cleaning and life of the linens.
Allergen Wash contains no dyes, perfumes or irritating additives.

How to Use Allersearch AllergenWash
Directions: Traditional top load machines Sort laundry following manufacturer’s care label instructions.Select water temperature: cold, warm, hot.Let water rise halfway and add 4 teaspoons of Allergen Wash to the water. (4 teaspoons = 3/4 of the red cap or red scoop.)Add laundry and complete cycles as usual.
Directions: HE machines Sort laundry following manufacturer’s care label instructions.Select water temperature: cold, warm, hot.Add 2 1/2 teaspoons to the soap dispenser for HE washers. (2 1/2 teaspoons = 1/2 of the red cap or red scoop.)Add laundry and complete cycles as usual.

No more broken scoops! Due to customer request, the 24 oz now ships with a new red cap which holds the same amount of detergent as the old style red scoop.

Pretty good product for dust mites
I’ve been having to use this product as it turns out I’m allergic to dust mites. It’s a bit expensive for the size but a little goes a long ways. It last me all month some times two months depending on how many loads I’m doing but usually it last a month and I use it in my towels and bedding every week, and in my clothes every other week. The scent is something to get used to.

This stuff works so wonderfully! I’m so impressed. I’ve bought this several times over the years and was told to get this from a pet care professional to help with my allergies to dander & pollen.Boy, does it work!!!!! I ordered this last night when I started snorting & sneezing like crazy. I live in a desert and the whole desert goes absolutely nuts with allergens after a rain. I ordered this & washed all my bedding, my couch cover, my towels and even the pet beds. No more sneezing!My bed is so comfortable to lay in. No more itchy skin.I has sensitive skin as-is, and throw in pet dander and pollen then pick up from the outdoors, and this special wash has you covered!I was trying everything. Showering as soon as I got home, removing & washing clothes, rinsing out my sinuses, you name it, noting was helping.I’m excited to get the spray cleaner of this stuff to give that a try, as well!I’ll definitely buy this again.

A triumph of science
What a product.I used to be itchy all night coz of dust mites. No rashes just invisible crawling and itching sensations all night long. I didn’t sleep properly for 3 years until I discovered this. I’ve been using Allersearch detergent (and also their spray) for another 3 years and I literally cannot live without this laundry detergent.Works perfectly. Effects last a solid 1-2 months for me. I wash my fitted sheets, pillow covers and my thick microfiber comforter with this. I also use a waterproof mattress protector on my bed coz I can’t really throw my mattress in the washing machine.The quilt is usually the first to start getting itchy, but that’s usually after a month or two only. I’m usually re-washing my sheets before it gets to that point.No discernable smell except for maybe a few hours after washing. And even there, I quite like the smell. It reassures me that I’m gonna sleep well tonight.This product is truly a victory for science. A hugely frustrating problem completely solved. Thank you to the team that created this and enabled me to sleep again.

Noticeable difference in laundry / Not reasonably priced for quantity/function
If this product were more reasonably priced or worked with much better result to laundered items, it would be rated higher.It’s not terrible, it definitely helps remove allergens much better than box store detergents that remove allergens. It is way too expensive for the results and the quantity—-it is a TINY amount of detergent, not much more than a large bottle of shampoo.I needed to use more than what it claims is needed to get results—- the tiny but overpriced amount is a bummer.It’s disappointing that something more reasonably priced isn’t available for folks with dust allergies.

Absolutely overpriced! For just 24 oz, this detergent costs way more than it should. No matter how well it works, the price is just not justified. Would not buy again.
