Keeps out the ants
I’ve been fighting with ants in the cat food every year when the weather changes and they head inside. I was going to just cut a piece of plywood and put some legs on it, then put vaseline around them. This looks way better and I haven’t had a problem with ants getting in the cat food since.

Excellent product! I had it in my hold items for quite awhile now… I so wish I had put it into my cart to order it sooner. Every spring we get hit with those tiny sugar ants. I forgot they also do a fall run for restocking winter reserves. This little item works beautifully, and it is the perfect height for my shi tzu. Its also very easy to dust and mop under without lifting it up with full bowls on it.

Must have for pet food!
While we have not been able to get rid of our an issue for months, this is one of the only products that has done exactly what it said it would do. One of the worst parts of having ants in our home has been finding them in my cats food and finding that my cat has been eating them. I now have had his feeder, his water, and his wet food on these trays for 2 months and have not found a single ant on them. This has saved my sanity!

I’ve sprayed for them. Maintenance has sprayed for them. If there’s a morsel of food on the floor, there is a cluster (100s) of them on it in a few hours. I found this BUG SNUB tray on Amazon with same day delivery and installed (simple) it yesterday evening. I fed the furball who never eats ALL her food and waited… no ants. Yesterday morning there were hundreds swarming all over it. This morning… ZERO ants! I’m truly amazed how well this device works. Its construction is VERY solid with high-quality components. It doesn’t slide around and assembly instructions make it easy to put together. The repellent comes in 4 packages, one for each leg, are stated to last a year and are available on Amazon. No… it’s not cheap, but for what you get it’s worth twice the price and I’d say it’s a great value for the money as I can leave food in the bowl 24/7. Highly recommend.60-DAY UPDATE, 9/03/25: Everything is still as stated above. The only ants I’ve seen are the 4-5 that got stuck in the repellent before the rest of the colony moved their food search elsewhere. This device is simply A-W-E-S-O-M-E .

Ant-proof tray!
I HATE ants. Every summer we get a month or two where they get in the house and get in everything. The cat food has always been a problem area in the past and I was desperate to avoid that this year. I bought this because I was willing to try anything and am so so happy to say it works so well! While we’ve had ants in the house, we’ve had none at all in the cat bowls this summer. 100% recommend this, it will save your sanity!
