I’m going to get the part I don’t like out of the way first. The only thing I don’t care about with this baby monitor is the fact it tops out at 720p. In the age of 2k & 4k cameras, 720p seems so…yesterday. You CAN get up to 1080p on your phone, but I prefer the monitor to using my phone.So, while it may not be 4k in all its glory, not everyone out there is going to really care about that, and I get that.As far as the positives go, there are a lot of them. First and foremost, I love that you have the option of using the monitor if you want to use that, or you can get an app for your phone and use that instead. As I said, I like the monitor, but…options!It has an SD card slot and the ability to record (super-awesome!), and I love the fact the cameras are pan/tilt, you can cover a HUGE amount of space with just one camera, let alone two. And though the image quality tops out at 720p (1080p over phone / tablet), in all honesty the image quality is still pretty good. Battery life for the monitor is also outstanding, and the range is good as well, I was able to go anywhere in my house and still get a good image.And by the way, you don’t have to use the bunny ears if you don’t want to. Just as a heads up.In all, I think this baby monitor is 100% worth the asking price, based on build quality, image quality, and the huge amount of flexibility.

This camera quality is very good. In bright and low light. Its functionality is also very good. However, what lets it down is the recording management. I have a 64gb card in it and for unknown reasons. It often only records less than half onto the memory card before it stops recording and requires a full reset and memory card wiping to enable it to record again. It lets it down and makes me feel that it’s done to ensure you purchase the cloud recording function.
