This collar cost less than the name brand. It also works great with our door. It uses a battery that is less expensive and more easily located.

Inconsistent operation
Had this collar for a little bit now to give it a fair shot land not sure if it’s defective or not but it doesn’t always work which has resulted in my dog being stuck outside a few times.

I would have given this five stars originally, but the plastic cover for the battery fell off after two days and now it’s useless. I’m very disappointed.

Its way more durable than the stock High Tech Pet MS-5 collar
A perfect replacement to the High Tech Pet MS-5 collar as it seems to be much more durable as well as not as bulky so the dog won’t brake it when it scratches the ms-5 broke withing 3 days but this replacement has lasted and it seems to sip on the highly obtainable cr2032 Batteries that is user replaceable and the device seems to be waterproof.My only concern is the o ring could easily be lost when replacing the battery which I yet to replace and I can verify I bought this on Nov 19th and tested with a multi-meter around Jan 1st and the battery still measures at 2.9v.

Nice find
It works great with my high tech automatic dog door.It takes a smaller battery tho. It looks sleek on the collar. Not so square and a regular collar without plastic clips would fit right thru the slots on each side.

This thing doesnt work consistently, sometimes our dog gets locked out! Not worth the $
