Works like magic!
I have three small dogs that bark at everything – I was at the end of my rope. I tried bark collars and they worked but seemed to negatively impact their personalities. So I tried this. It is magic. It interrupts barking as soon as it starts and they are quickly learning not to begin barking in the first place. I’d give ten stars if I could.

It really works!
I am absolutely thrilled. I have a 5 year old Aussie that gets overstimmulated when the neighbor dog barks and if we have grandkids over swimming. He runs around crazy and barks and snaps. I used this Barkbuddy on him the first night when he was barking at the neighbors dog- pressed button and said NO bark! He stopped immediately and came to me. I praised him. Next day neighbors dog was barking at the fence, all I had to say is NO and he didn’t. The strangest thing is that he sees the Barkbuddy in my hand, and sniffs it and settled down.100% calmer!

Stop Barking!
This product does exactly what I had hoped it would, the dogs instantly stop barking when the button is pressed. Just make sure to speak out the command “Stop Barking”. We have three dogs and it’s helping quite a bit with them and their barking behaviors. I might have to buy a second, we have a two story home and we need one for upstairs and downstairs needs at times.

Didn’t Work On My Dog or 3 Neighbor’s Dogs
I wanted this primarily for the neighbor’s dogs who yap anytime I’m in my own yard. (Why do people let their dogs bark for no reason???) The German Shepherd behind me didn’t seem to hear it regardless of setting. The 2 yappy mini Dachshunds next door also completely ignored it. So I tried it on my Great Dane and she didn’t react either. It’s fully charged, the lights and flashers work, but all 4 dogs seemed not to hear it regardless of setting. I’m going to return it.

It’s easy, just push the button
‘Bully’ breeds (Pitbull, American Staffordshire) are apparently extremely vocal dogs. Loud voices, persistent whining, ‘talking’, groaning and moaning. If any breed should be able to actually speak, it would be this one.When her vocalizations get to be too much or too loud, a single quick push of the button will usually stop her whining. I don’t hold the button down as long as recommended (push it until the bad behavior stops). Despite the company’s assurances that the high frequency sound will not hurt a dog’s ears, I just give it a quick push. She will usually settle down. All in all, Barxbuddy is reasonably effective to stop various unpleasant behaviors in canines. Would purchase again.
